Mika and The Witch's Mountain is a very short game. A single playthrough while completing most of the Side Deliveries clocked in around 6 hours. During that time however I got used to exploring the island, discovered many hidden secrets, and simply had a fun time.

I enjoyed flying around the town and getting to know more about the mountain. Ese potencial no aprovechado es quizá lo peor que puedo decir de un juego que es lo suficientemente kawaii, relajante y entrañable como para ser disfrutado con lo que ya tiene

Mika and the Witch’s Mountain es un juego ideal para relajarse y disfrutar durante varias horas del Mont Gaun y sus carismáticos personajes. El tiempo pasa volando gracias a una mecánica de vuelo muy entretenida y basada en aprovechar al máximo los escenarios. Unos que están repletos de contenido tanto principal como secundario que hacen que no sueltes el mando en ningún momento. Siempre hay algo que hacer, y no se hace aburrido en las más de 4 horas que dura. Visualmente, es precioso y la música acompaña genial cada bioma que estemos sobrevolando.

Una aventura de exploración con toques de plataformeo y un fuerte énfasis narrativo que engancha y además te deja el corazón bien calentito. Ir descubriendo las historias de los habitantes de la isla, ayudarnos con nuestros repartos y al mismo tiempo disfrutar del viaje hace que el juego lance un embrujo que nos atrape hasta el final.

Given its early access, I found the idea behind Mika and The Witch’s Mountain appealing, but the implementation falls well short. The quest structure is repetitious, and the world seems dead with inhabitants who fail to engage the player. Still, Mika and The Witch’s Mountain was brought to life in a manner that almost fully realized its great graphics, amazing music, and sensible concept. If you appreciate the Chibig world and ignore its flaws, you might still have fun here, particularly with the returning characters from past games.

The straightforward controls, intuitive gameplay, and bright colors make it a reasonably good game for kids, but when judged through more objective lenses, it falls a bit short, especially when compared to other 3D platformers released in recent times.

También al caer sobre una altura considerable o dejar caer algún objeto. Quizás en algún momento querremos repartir escobazos, pero se trata de un título tan adorable que se nos pasará pronto el enfado. Bien es cierto que podría haberse alargado más el juego, pero añadirle más coleccionables o alargar la historia de forma artificial quizás no le sentaría tan bien. A fin de cuentas, esta es sólo una acogedora historia sobre una pequeña bruja que entrega paquetes en una discreta isla. Y no necesita más.

Es una belleza de juego que te hará sentirte una bruja, pero también una eficaz repartidora de paquetes. Es un juego muy relajante, recomendado para todos los públicos, aunque es cierto que como acceso anticipado puede que te deje un poco con la miel en los labios por algunos aspectos de su desarrollo.
