Well, it’s happening; cozy games might actually become more prevalent in the gaming industry, and it looks like Inverge Studios will lead the charge for this paradigm shift.

Overall, Blasphemous 2 is yet another masterwork from The Game Kitchen and a brilliant sequel to Blasphemous. With the mountain of strange lore and even stranger things to fight against, you’ll find yourself coming back for more each time and trying even harder to get to the next part of your adventure.

Although it might seem hard to get used to at first sight, Frank and Drake is actually full of story-rich elements and likable characters that encapsulate the player into a flowing story and critical forward-thinking. With important choices, it is totally up to us to bring the story to an end. With more than 16 different endings, Frank and Drake emphasize how a small bit of wrongdoing can cause a lot of trouble or a tiny work of help can turn the world around.

It is pretty obvious that there is something within Inner Ashes worth talking about and discussing, especially with its narrative based around such a sensitive topic. However, as it stands, it is a game that I foresee most players walking away from this experience, being only able to make it through thanks to the story and maybe the dream world visuals or not being able to finish the game due to the lack of actual gameplay. The story here is the golden key to it all, and it shouldn’t go to waste, but either Inner Ashes should be something completely different or it needs a lot more time to be developed into something a lot more in-depth than what is here right now.

Friends vs Friends has a good foundation and concepts that could make for a quirky shooter. But it needs many further patches that change combat balance, progression, and an introduction of new features and modes. Currently, this feels like an Early Access game, which needs additional work. Those with three or more friends who are interested should consider purchasing multiple copies or hold off on Friends vs Friends entirely.

DE-EXIT – Eternal Matters is a beautifully crafted game overall, and it also has an incredibly rich story. The visual design might seem a bit odd at first but it really shines in later parts of the game as you progress. This is definitely a game that needs some patience in the beginning since you don’t get much to run with, but it is well worth the wait and the effort. While DE-EXIT – Eternal Matters did have one or two minor stutters, they don’t ruin the gameplay at all and they are to be expected considering DE-EXIT – Eternal Matters was built with Unity.

Curse of the Sea Rats is, ultimately, a great game held back from even higher greatness by some of the design decisions that were implemented. It could have had a better start, and some of the mechanics could have been tweaked ever so slightly, but once you get into it, it’s a whole lot of fun. It’s probably better in co-op though. So, if you get a chance to do that, go for it. It’s likely to be a great few hours spent with a couple of friends.

In the end, The Crown of Wu is, sadly, just a bit dull. It’s an adequate game, but it doesn’t offer anything particularly new or different. It’s a game that may be worth getting if you’re really into 3D soulslike games and you’ve been having some trouble finding new ones worth playing. Otherwise, this is not a game that can be particularly recommended.

Endling - Extinction is Forever is not a game for people who deny our destruction of the world. If you think that our pollution and constant expansion is a good thing, then this game may be uncomfortable for you as it doesn’t pull any punches. It\'s is an experience worth having, and with a length of about four hours, it’s a tight, polished experience that doesn’t have any fluff.

Explosive Dinosaurs tries to be quirky, despite its flaws, but it does so in the same vein as the internet spouts recognizable memes. It’s not so much about the contents; it’s just about going through the motions. It’s doubtful that Mario Party would ever rely on a looped animation of Snoop Dogg to be comical. While there’s definitely a hard competition possible in this game, it will require quite a lot to overlook some harsh flaws, particularly in the main aspect of controlling the damned thing. For those that want to stick around, there are over thirty mini-games of varying range. At least, it’s a lot of different options.
