A differenza del primo capitolo cambiano le armi, i nemici, e i poteri del nostro protagonista. Tutto è più grande e più curato rispetto al precedente capitolo, e con una difficoltà tarata verso l'alto rispetto alla media dei metroidvania.

Through all the beauty and bloodshed, Blasphemous 2 is a game that demonstrates why the pixel style endures and should be recognised as one of the best-looking games of the year. As you find yourself entrenched in its eerie environs, you will undoubtedly find it hard to put down.

Blasphemous 2 is not for the faint of heart. The battles can be difficult at times - to a controller-breaking level. However, if you’re a fan of the stresses and strains found in Souls-like games and are willing to learn the moves inside out, then this Metroidvania will reward you with beautiful finishing kills and adrenaline-filled boss fights.

Blasphemous II will go down as an icon of its genre, attracting fans of Metroidvanias, Soulslike games, and newcomers alike. Its dark world is wholly unique and is gorgeously presented with the best pixel art I’ve ever seen. The talent, passion, and creativity that went into this title elevate it far above even its most frustrating moments, making a game that captures your attention and keeps you engaged even in its toughest fights.

In conclusion, Blasphemous 2 is a masterpiece of video game design, plain and simple. It's the highest praise one game can get, and it's fully deserved. It's a game with a wonderfully crafted world, an intriguing and mysterious story and fantastic combat and exploration that make it a joy to play over and over again. 

Blasphemous II is an incredible sequel that expands on what came before, offering fun combat with customization, fantastic powers, and enough secrets to keep you busy.

Blasphemous 2 is a great game! Phenomenal in certain respects and a reminder that the Metroidvania genre is still alive, well and able to bring an immensely satisfying sense of accomplishment and fun. While the first game did have some unique elements that made it different from the rest, Blasphemous 2 is a much more solid, traditional Metroidvania game, but a darn impressive one at that.

Blasphemous 2 is a huge improvement upon its predecessor in just about every conceivable way; it’s a beautifully crafted adventure that might as well be the best of its kind this year.

Visually the game is truly stunning and packed with detail once again, fully embodying its pixel art tones and blending it with gothic and religious iconography… adding a real under-tone of gruesomeness and foreboding to it all.  Sound wise it’s outstanding as well from the epic soundtrack building to a crescendo in the heat of a battle, to it just ticking away in the background forging an atmosphere as you explore.  Blasphemous 2 takes what made the first game a hit, by amplifying and refining it all, movement and combat are improved, the world is deeper and bigger and the big bads are bigger and badder.  If you’re a fan of the first game you will love this, whereas newcomers will find a tough, but fair challenge if they can keep the faith.

Blasphemous was a brutally tough Metroidvania. The sequel hits just as hard in every way but with a smoother difficulty curve and an outstanding first act.

Overall, Blasphemous 2 is the perfect sequel to the first game and simply feels like a continuation of Blasphemous story while not changing what it doesn’t need to. The game is perfect for fans of both Castlevania who enjoy the challenge of Dark Souls. Though the dialogue may not be everyone’s cup of tea, it certainly immerses you.

If you’re a fan of 2D Metroidvania and Souls-like games, Blasphemous 2 is a must-play. It has the best of both worlds while crafting a unique identity that expands and improves on the original Blasphemous in every way.

Blasfhemus II brilla sia per l’aspetto visivo che per quello sonoro, con un comparto grafico meraviglioso, con nemici avvincenti e  luoghi alquanto inquietanti. Una piccola perla che strizza l’occhio a giochi del calibro di Dark soul. Come il suo predecessore il seguito riesce a far sclerare i giocatori, ma con tanta pazzienza arriverete a finire questo secondo capitolo. Blasphemous II ha tutto il potenziale per far innamorare i giocatori di questo nuovo avventura. The Game Kitchen porta il genere  platform 2D in un nuovo livello dove  il giocare deve dare il meglio di se.

Comme le laissait transparaître le premier contact, Blasphemous 2 a bon sur toute la ligne. The Game Kitchen a su retenir les leçons d’il y a quatre ans pour compenser les faiblesses du premier opus. En découle un Metroidvania très solide, qui conserve ces combats exigeants, demandant d’entrer dans une certaine danse pour les appréhender. Et toujours avec son magnifique écrin. On lui pardonne donc aisément ses quelques petites faiblesses, tant il sait se montrer prenant jusqu’au bout.

Overall, I really like Blasphemous 2. It has some rough edges, particularly with the bugs I’ve reported like a room that randomly killed me, which I have reported to the devs and the post-boss freeze. However, the art style is macabre yet beautiful, and despite my frustrations at times, the gameplay feels smooth and enjoyable. It plays surprisingly well on Nintendo Switch too. If you liked the first game or you like games like Hollow Knight and Ender Lillies, Blasphemous 2 is something that should be on your radar.

Blasphemous 2 is absolutely brilliant, with the game maintaining the core mechanics that made its predecessor so good whilst evolving upon the combat in a deep and strategic way. Alternating between weapons always feels satisfying, whether that’s when strategically switching up when facing off against a hulking enemy or utilising their unique traversal methods, whilst simply exploring the beautiful yet haunting world and discovering all of its secrets is just as tantalising as before.

Blasphemous 2 is built on the back of the insanely funded Kickstarter success of the first game, with improved visuals, an even more cohesive art style that still evokes Francisco Goya and Spanish history, more fluid animations, and an extra step up in the music and voice acting. It really is an improvement in every way, and does so without forgoing what made the introduction special. While intimate knowledge of the original entry is not required, it serves to enhance both the world of Blasphemous and the story of the Penitent One. Throw in The Game Kitchen's house-made documentary for good measure, and you've got an enthralling franchise of mystery, misery, and history, capped off by not only one of the best games of its genre, but a fine entry in all of gaming. Any shortcomings be damned, as its stellar elements do more than repent for them.

When all is said and done, Blasphemous 2 is exactly what it sets out to be. It meets and surpasses the benchmark set by the original ever so slightly, all while offering some new innovations to keep the formula fresh. 

Blasphemous 2 combines incredible world-building, superb visuals, and a complex and thoughtful narrative around one of the most rock-solid metroidvania’s ever created. The original is a modern-day classic, and the sequel is one guilty pleasure that is worth the penance.

Blasphemous 2 es toda una obra de arte en varios sentidos, tanto a nivel artístico, como jugable, veremos escenarios cargados de detalles, enemigos variados, y haremos uso de las diferentes armas para ver todo lo que ofrece el combate. La exploración es muy satisfactoria, pero la historia es algo enrevesada, y el nivel de dificultad general ha disminuido con respecto a la anterior entrega, pero estamos ante un metroidvania sobresaliente.

Todo lo que podía mejorarse de la primera parte se ha mejorado. Vemos como The Game Kitchen ha optado por dejar atrás los elementos más soulslike por unas mecánicas más rápidas y una acción más ágil y tenemos que decir que han acertado con este nuevo enfoque. Es verdad que no provoca las mismas sensaciones debido a que el efecto sorpresa se ha diluido y las expectativas estaban tremendamente altas, pero no por ello dejamos de tener un juego más que sobresaliente y que coloca al estudio español como un referente en el mundo de los videojuegos tanto a nivel nacional como internacional.

El Penitente, a pesar de estar rodeado por el castigo y el sufrimiento, en esta ocasión ha logrado rozar el cielo con Blasphemous II, una verdadera joya y una de las mejores experiencias a nivel jugable y técnico que vamos a encontrar dentro del género al que pertenece. No tiene nada que envidiarle a otros títulos referentes como Hollow Knight, Ori o incluso Metroid. Es uno de los títulos indispensables en cualquier catálogo.

Menudo pepinazo de juego ha preparado el estudio español The Game Kitchen. Este Blasphemous 2 es el nuevo juego sobre el penitente y es cuasi perfecto. Como hemos dicho, está desarrollado por The Game Kitchen y publicado por Meridiem, y es un candidato absoluto a juego del año. Como le ocurría al primero, en principio es un juego que puede pasar por un “metroidvania más”, pero vuelve a tener alrededor de si tal mundo construido y lore, que lo sitúan en un escalón superior. Además, han mejorado aquello que no estaban tan fino en la primera iteración, sobre todo a lo refiere sobre el control. Así que, su estilo y personalidad desbordantes achican todo lo que no pueda tener tan bueno y esto es así para lo bueno y para lo malo.

Blasphemous 2 coge lo mejor de Blasphemous y lo lleva a un nuevo nivel. Con cambios estructurales que pivotan hacía una experiencia más orientada a un "metroidvania", The Game Kitchen nos ofrece una digna secuela que mejora lo que la primera entrega nos ofrecía sin renunciar a las señas de identidad representadas por su arte y su imaginería tan bella como aterradora. Una secuela más que digna, necesaria.

Bigger, better, avoiding the mistakes of its predecessor, Blasphemous 2 is one of the most faithful to its tenets, sequels we've seen in recent years. Its solid gameplay and intriguing level design and exploration are some of the reasons why we fell in love with this genre, in the first place.

En definitiva, un metroidvania a la altura de los más grandes. Que puede mirar de cara a los mayores referentes del género y que lo hace con una fórmula propia con mucho estilo, mucha clase y sobre todo, mucho buen gusto. Un metroidvania divertido, con un gameplay retador y satisfactorio y una enciclopedia de \\\"bosses\\\" que lo elevan a cotas muy top. Tanto si os va el género como si no, de verdad, Blasphemous 2 merece, y mucho, ser jugado. Dadle un tiento porque no os vais a equivocar.

La segunda entrega de la saga Blasphemous trae de vuelta a El Penitente, con una historia que arranca tras los eventos narrados en el DLC gratuito Wounds of Eventide del juego original, donde se anunció el regreso del Milagro y se profetizó el nacimiento de un nuevo mesías. Tras despertar en un lugar nuevo y extraño, interrumpiendo su descanso final, El Penitente vuelve a ser arrojado al interminable ciclo de vida, muerte y resurrección

Blasphemous 2 se consagra como um dos melhores metroidvanias disponíveis no mercado. Dos visuais impecáveis aos aprimoramentos na jogabilidade, a única blasfêmia real aqui é não aproveitar esta sequência cuidadosamente preparada pela The Game Kitchen. Então levante e aceite seu destino, Penitente: o destino de Cvstodia está novamente em suas mãos (e essa felizmente é uma ótima notícia).

Para cualquier amante de los metroidvania, este juego es imprescindible. Soluciona las carencias de la primera entrega y multiplica las virtudes de la misma. Prácticamente no falla en nada y acierta en todo, siendo un cóctel de jugabilidad adictiva, misterios, descubrimiento, exploración y dificultad elevada pero compensada que no tiene nada que envidiar a varios de los considerados mejores metroidvania de todos los tiempos.

Du bör dock inte låta små skavanker hindra dig från att uppleva detta pixel-mästerverk, för det är verkligen ett litet konststycke The Game Kitchen har svarvat ihop i fallet Blasphemous II. För man har byggt vidare på den redan extremt solid grunden man stod på för drygt 4 år sedan och man har därtill adderat ljuvliga nyheter samtidigt som man har förfinat allt som sedan tidigare gjort denna genre så populär i urminnes tider. Det må förvisso inte nå hela vägen upp till giganter som Castlevania: Symphony of the Night och Super Metroid, men Blasphemous II kan med enkelhet stå sida vid sida tillsammans med storheter som Hollow Knight, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, Dead Cells och The Messenger utan att behöva skämmas för en enda sekund. År 2023 har sedan som bekant erbjudit mängder med kvalitativa titlar, men Blasphemous II är utan tvekan i toppskiktet på den redan eminenta skara. Vi kan helt enkelt inte rekommendera detta bloddränkta äventyr nog mycket, och för att slutligen citera en viss Petter Hegevall från 2019:

I honestly feel that in a few years’ time, when people say, ‘They don’t make them like they used to', they’ll be reflecting on Blasphemous 1 and 2. Both games are superb examples of how to come up with original creative direction and art direction and ensure that both are interwoven into the gameplay. Blasphemous 2 is a prime example of what you need to do to be successful in a crowded genre. Penitent One; I hope it’s not another four years until we meet again!

Blasphemous II crafts an intricate and satisfying world that is only accentuated by the gorgeously gruesome art. The Penitent One feels better to control than ever, and the amount of choice you have over your attacks and abilities compliments the game’s punishing combat brilliantly. Despite some niggles, Blasphemous II is a Metroidvania masterclass and an incredibly confident sequel.

Blasphemous 2 takes the foundations of its well-received predecessor and builds upon it in all the right ways. Tweaking combat to make it faster, smoother, and more accurate, removing insta-death scenarios to make platforming more manageable, and packing the game full to the brim with secrets and collectibles. The great attention to detail in the presentation and high level of polish make Blasphemous 2 a delightfully memorable experience that players will look back on fondly for years to come.

This is a must-play for fans of games like Hollow Knight and the Castlevanias of yore, with challenging bosses and a superb sense of personality. It one-ups the first game in most meaningful ways. 

Blasphemous 2 leans heavily into its inspirations, and therefore doesn't reinvent the wheel – but with more to see, more to do, and, of course, more to slaughter, it improves on its forerunner's familiar formula across the board with devastating results.

The combat has been improved from the original, and features new weapons and skills to better customize the gameplay to different playstyles. The world of Cvstodia is visually striking, with its highly detailed, gothic pixel art. With multiple endings and tons of secrets to find, there’s plenty of incentive play it more than once. Regardless of whether or not you’ve played the first one, Blasphemous 2 is worth experiencing.

Blasphemous 2 sticks with the exquisitely dark and gory style of its predecessor whilst building on the core combat and improving upon the platforming we saw the first time around. The Game Kitchen could have served us up more of the same and we'd have been perfectly happy. However, they've made meaningful upgrades here, with deeper and more satisfying combat and three upgradable weapon sets that combine perfectly with environmental puzzling that feels more cohesive and fluid overall. The Penitent One's return to Cvstodia is an absolute banger.

With robust combat, improved traversal, and a return to the series' surreal art style and fascinating world-building, Blasphemous 2 is a triumphant sequel.

Blasphemous 2 has earned its place as one of the great metroidvanias.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time back with The Penitent One and would heartily recommend it both to fans of the original and newcomers alike. There are enough changes to make it feel like a new title whilst still having continuity in setting and aesthetic.

Blasphemous 2 è la massima evoluzione di un videogioco che, in passato, sorprese tiepidamente la critica ma entrò nel cuore dei giocatori. Se con il primo capitolo c’era molta, forse troppa incertezza, la seconda iterazione del franchise ha invece evoluto totalmente l’intero impianto ludico, proponendo un racconto struggente. Forte di una pixel art che riempie lo schermo, colorandolo con vivacità, Blasphemous 2 è anche un bel vedere sotto il profilo artistico. Che altro dire sul game design? Evoluto, maturo e concreto. In una calda, caldissima estate in cui i videogiochi stanno dimostrando standard sempre più elevati, la seconda iterazione del franchise più blasfema in assoluto non poteva affatto mancare all’appello. Il peccato vi attende.

Wer des ersten Teils schon mag, wird diesen Teil lieben. Plattformer-Fans kommen hier voll auf ihre Kosten. Kleinere Mankos, wie die teils mangelnde Gegnervielfalt, sind aufgrund des exzellenten Pacings nicht allzu schlimm.

Les fans du Pénitent ne pourront être qu’aux anges à l’idée d’incarner à nouveau ce héros atypique, qui massacre tout ce que le folklore religieux peut avoir de plus immonde. Tout est bien dans Blasphemous 2, qui s’impose comme la suite attendue et comme l’un des meilleurs jeux de l’année 2023. Amen.

A sequência do metroidvania oferece uma aventura repleta de confrontos brutais e exploração envolvente em uma experiência mais refinada. As múltiplas armas trazem variedade aos embates, os elaborados mapas têm desafios interessantes de plataforma e o mundo é convidativo por causa de seus inúmeros segredos.

Blasphemous II mejora en todo a la primera entrega. Es más maduro en mecánicas, diseño de niveles y apartado audiovisual, donde ya es un referente para la industria. Absorbente, fresco, desafiante. La penitencia soñada.

Even with these issues, Blasphemous 2 is an excellent sequel that improves upon its predecessor in almost all of the ways it fell short. The addition of three new weapons--and the litany of ways you can augment your build--ensure that combat is engaging throughout, while traversal has also been expanded upon in positive ways, removing much of the previous frustration by focusing on satisfying challenges and a tangible sense of progression. Combine this with another fascinating setting and deluge of haunting imagery, and this is a pilgrimage worth embarking on.

Blasphemous 2 se presenta como una secuela que, si bien mantiene la esencia de su predecesor, introduce ajustes y novedades que dan forma a una experiencia única. Cvstodia sigue siendo el escenario, aunque transformado y con zonas reconfiguradas que añaden un toque fresco a la exploración. Aunque la mayoría de los enemigos son nuevos, se aprecia la inclusión de algunos conocidos, aunque podría haberse explorado más. El sistema de combate, junto con el Retablo de Favores, brindan personalización y estrategia, aunque la dificultad de los jefes se ha suavizado en comparación con el juego anterior. La música y las voces siguen siendo aspectos destacados, con una coherente selección de instrumentos y voces emotivas que añaden profundidad a la ambientación. En pocas palabras, Blasphemous 2 evoluciona manteniendo su esencia. Aunque en algunos aspectos se podrían haber tomado mayores riesgos, la experiencia sigue siendo impecable para quienes buscan familiaridad y frescura en el mundo único de Cvstodia.

Blasphemous 2 is a near-flawless sequel that only improves on its own formula. The game is bigger, bolder and more confident in every facet. Combat is more diverse and brutal, the platforming more fulfilling and the presentation more enriched and hauntingly beautiful. One of the best 2D Metroidvanias that honours the Soulslike formula, whilst carving out its own path.

And it mostly succeeds. The combat is smoother and far, far more varied. Many enemy types return but there are a host of new ones, too, and the bosses are mostly terrifying, disturbing, or both. It’s a bold step in a new direction for The Game Kitchen, and a title that manages to navigate the almost impossible path between feeling familiar and feeling brand new.

Blasphemous II took so much of what made the first Blasphemous notable and heightened it from a pure-combat specialist to a memorable metroidvania.  Not only are there improvements to combat and movement to feel both fluid and fruitful, but the experience is captivating and enthralling from all standpoints. Looking through every nook and cranny is enjoyable enough, but you’ll stay completely mesmerized by the gorgeous artwork and atmosphere. The Penitent One’s journey is arduous and demanding, but it is a hell of a time.

If you enjoyed the first Blasphemous, then getting hold of Blasphemous 2 is a given. Everything that was great about the first game has been built on in the second, with nearly all issues addressed.

Brutal, exciting and slightly unsettling, the second jaunt into Blasphemous' idiosyncratic world has tightened up the gameplay. The platforming is improved and the combat is fast and frantic. Best of all, it's still dripping with the religious themes of penance and guilt, which makes the world as fascinating as it is disturbing.

Blasphemous 2 cumplió con todas nuestras expectativas porque mantuvo lo que nos encantó del primer juego, lo multiplicó y encontró la manera de innovar. Expande cada mecánica y detalle de tal manera que, aunque aún apreciamos a la precuela, vemos difícil regresar a ella sabiendo que hay una versión mejorada. Supo balancear a la perfección el combate estilo souls que los distingue con más elementos de los metroidvanias para darnos una experiencia que coloca un nuevo estándar en el género.

Blasphemous 2 es un metroidvania de pura cepa, con énfasis en la exploración y que supera a su antecesor sin dejar de lado todo lo que lo hacía único. Es divertido, desafiante, espectacular y está mejor balanceado.

Blasphemous II vereint Schmerz und Glück in Perfektion! Ihr werdet so viele Bildschirmtode sehen und trotzdem ausreichend Erfolgserlebnisse und Fortschritte genießen in einer Welt, die vor fantasievoller Abscheulichkeit nur so strotzt. Feinste Pixelkunst, ein messerscharfes Gameplay und vielfältige Upgrade-Systeme sorgen neben einer anspruchsvollen Metroidvania-Welt für stundenlangen Spielspaß mit dem fanatischen Büßer. Der Sound wird sich, wie mancher Gegner oder Boss, festkrallen, doch am Ende seid ihr diejenigen, die vom Tod mächtiger auferstehen, um die komplett ungeführten Geheimnisse von Blasphemous II zu enträtseln.

Es un juego excepcional en todas sus partes y que rebosa de seguridad en todo lo que hace. The Game Kitchen tomo su obra y mejoro todos sus apartados, dándonos sin duda alguna uno de los mejores juegos del 2023, uno de los mejores indies en el mercado y uno de los mejores juegos desarrollados en España.

Blasphemous II se parece mucho más a un Metroidvania que su predecesor, con un mundo que te ruega que lo explores. Las peleas siguen siendo brutales, y el mundo sigue siendo una obra maestra de pixel art meticulosamente detallada, acompañado de gran forma por un apartado sonoro notable. No cabe duda que Blasphemous II hace todo bien como secuela, y todos los amantes de los Metroidvania deberían jugarlo.

It's always great to see a sequel improve on the original while keeping the spirit of the original alive. I loved my time in the crazy world of Blasphemous 2, with plenty of secrets to find and great combat that keeps you on your toes. Though its story could be a little more cohesive, it doesn't take much away from the overall product. Blasphemous 2 is easily one of the best indie titles of the year.

A solid take on the Metroidvania genre, Blasphemous 2 stands apart by managing to create a highly atmospheric mechanically demanding experience that will satisfy the needs of those looking for a good challenge.

While it’s unlikely to win over anyone that tried the first and didn’t vibe with it, Blasphemous 2 is undoubtedly a treat for fans wanting to spend more time with the Penitent One. With more variety in terms of both visuals and gameplay, this is a confident sequel that builds on the foundations of its predecessor. And while its story may be confounding at times, we can’t help but be mesmerised by its dark and mysterious world.

Blasphemous 2 is the perfect sequel fans could ever ask for. The sequel doubles down on everything Blasphemous is beloved for, and then proceeds to add a slew of new features. The result is a beautifully rendered action platformer with challenging combat, varied character builds, rewarding exploration, a plethora of side content and some great music. I would have liked to see more epic screen-filling boss fights, some post-campaign modes and reasonable regional pricing, but I guess the last wish is not up to the developer. Team17, if you’re reading this, fix your prices. Blasphemous 2 is a gem of a game otherwise.

I really enjoyed my time in Cvstodia with Blasphemous 2. Now you might be saying, but you haven’t really said if it’s better than the first title, and in that case, you would be correct, I did not. That’s because I actually never played the original game, and this is my first introduction to the universe of Blasphemous. I am just going to be flat-out transparent here and tell you that if you enjoy titles such as Dark Souls, Bloodborne, and Elden Ring but want a different setting in a completely different dimensional format with awesome atmosphere, sound, and music, then you must play Blasphemous 2. If you are a Souls fan, then you need to play this game. It’s simple as that. As I’ve previously stated, my only issues with the game were the early limitation of exploration and somewhat inconsistent and unresponsive controls. Other than that, there is really not much else to complain about. With that said, Blasphemous 2 receives a final verdict of 9 out of 10.

If you loved Blasphemous, then you will adore the sequel. If you have never played the original, Blasphemous 2 is an easier recommendation than the first, despite a few issues that still linger. The changes and refinements, mainly the three weapon system, go a long way in keeping the game feeling fresh in both the combat and the exploration, which are core pillars of a good Metroidvania. Add this to the already solid foundation from the first, and Blasphemous 2 is a must play for any fan of the genre and might end up being the best metroidvania of 2023.

You won’t forget the Catholic gothic imagery from the twisted minds of The Game Kitchen once you’re done with 14 hours of this lovingly-crafted title. Believe me, I still have that image of a woman’s arm slowly being mutilated by tiny cherubs bit by bit as the story progresses with a grotesque final form seared in my mind. And also that one giant bearded guy breastfeeding his baby. That’s a sight that will haunt me in my sleep.

Blasphemous 2 é o primeiro jogo, só que maior. Com combate refinado, mais opções de build e foco maior em seus elementos Metroidvania. Embora não tente reinventar a fórmula, ele consegue melhorar em praticamente todos os aspectos.

Infelizmente o jogo não conta com batalhas contra chefes tão majestosas quanto no primeiro título, mas ele compensa com uma bela direção de arte e um combate mais variado, além de diversas habilidades únicas.

Una secuela a la altura con los retoques necesarios para sentirse fresca, divertida y emocionante. El combate está mejor que nunca y ofrece una amplia gama de personalización y variedad. Explorar sus recovecos se ha convertido en un paseo agradable a diferencia de su predecesor que era un auténtico tormento con sus pinchos y animaciones irregulares. Los controles responden a la precisión como un fino reloj suizo, y todo esto mientras nos cuenta una historia retorcida, oscura y angustiante de un mundo impío. No hay mucho para criticarle, quizás la seguridad del estudio por no ir un paso más lejos. Tal vez, el reciclado de enemigos y la escasa dificultad que supone superar su aventura. Pese a ello, son solo matices en todo un mar de aciertos. Blasphemous 2 es otra maravilla que no deberían perder de vista, y más que una asignatura pendiente para cualquier fanático del género. El penitente aguarda en su morada, y solo resta una semana para que comience su summa blasfemia.

La inteligencia y el saber hacer que se ven en Blasphemous 2 seguramente sorprenden menos que cuando salió la primera parte, pero son igual de refrescantes y apetece celebrarlos igual: sobre todo cuando dan como resultado un juego como este, robusto e intrigante, exigente sin llegar a desanimar; preocupado por agradar incluso a quienes no terminaron de conectar con el original, pero también por no olvidarse de qué hizo que el primero resonara con tanta gente.

En conclusión, si disfrutaste del primer Blasphemous, sin duda deberías jugar a Blasphemous 2. Todo lo que hizo que el primer juego fuera grandioso se ha ampliado en esta secuela, con prácticamente todos los problemas abordados y mejorados.

Blasphemous 2 es el ejemplo perfecto de superación. Una secuela que toma como punto de partida todos los puntos fuertes del juego original y añade novedades bien implementadas. If you enjoyed the first Blasphemous then you will definitely enjoy the sequel as there's a lot to love here. From the nice variety in weapons, abilities and loadouts to the well-designed map to the pristine presentation, everything here is on point. I would have liked a bit more risk-taking with the formula and a smoother difficulty ramp-up, but those are minor complaints for what's otherwise a polished Metroidvania that fans of the genre absolutely should check out.

Blasphemous II would have always had big shoes to fill. It would always have to have been ambitious. When I think back to the 20+ hours I’ve already spent in this game, I can wholeheartedly say the successor to Blasphemous is bigger than the boots it needed to fill. The ambition, rather than stifling the developers, has led them to produce a game of such exquisite quality that it is easily one of the best games of 2023.

Si ya disfrutaste del original, aquí encontraras algo mucho mejor y más accesible. Si te pilla virgen, ya estas tardando en jugarlo. Es, sin duda, uno de los mejores indies de Nintendo Switch y candidato a mejor juego del año.

At several points in my lengthy journey through the Gothic delight that is Blasphemous 2, I worried the monstrous foe in front of me would spell an end to my journey. But without these frequent frustrations, the triumphs wouldn’t be as great. Blasphemous 2 takes inspiration from those that came before it, but by intertwining a gorgeous art style, enticing exploration, and rewarding combat, it rises above the horde of Castlevania-inspired action titles.

Capace di scollarsi dal trend di voler “copiare Hollow Knight”, la nuova fatica di The Game Kitchen migliora molti dei difetti del predecessore e raccoglie, in maniera molto più convincente, quella pesante eredità lasciata dai Castlevania bidimensionali. Al netto di una manciata di sbavature che gli impediscono di raggiungere l’eccellenza, Blasphemous 2 è un must have per gli amanti dei metroidvania e un ottimo biglietto di ingresso per i novizi del genere.

Nel complesso Blasphemous 2 si comporta come il predecessore, ma le modifiche apportate al sistema di gioco da parte di The Game Kitchen si sentono e ne migliorano qualitativamente ogni aspetto. La netta virata verso una piena formula da metroidvania è un evoluzione naturale di un titolo che peccava proprio in una progressione fin troppo lineare e poco stimolante. L’esplorazione diventa ora il fulcro cardine dell’esperienza di gioco, i combattimenti una continua sfida e i collezionabili vi sproneranno a battere a tappeto ogni singola stanza. E visto il trattamento dato al primo capitolo da parte degli sviluppatori, ci auguriamo che pure Blasphemous 2 riesca ad espandere la sua storia e i suoi contenuti con aggiornamenti futuri. Quindi, se siete amanti dei metroidvania è impossibile non amare anche Blasphemous 2, che diventa di diritto uno di quei titoli fondamentali da giocare se siete appassionati del genere.

Una fantástica secuela que mejora a su predecesor en todos los sentidos para ofrecernos una aventura desafiante, bien diseñada, adictiva y audiovisualmente deslumbrante.

Blasphemous 2 è esattamente ciò che un sequel dovrebbe essere. Va a limare le imperfezioni precedenti e nel frattempo mette in piedi un'avventura nuova ma al tempo stesso familiare in alcuni aspetti del gameplay e meccaniche di base, il tutto riuscendo a implementare novità sufficienti a rendere questo nuovo pellegrinaggio accattivante. La presenza di tre armi, intercambiabili a piacere, rende i combattimenti ben più gestibili e si sposa con l'aggiunta di elementi quali la Pala d'Altare e la suddivisione di Preghiere in Canti e Versetti. Aver semplificato gli spostamenti è probabilmente la miglioria per eccellenza, data la sua natura metroidvania ricca di backtracking e segreti, e al netto di qualche piccola ombra ancora presente, siamo davanti a un ottimo secondo capitolo.

Der Mix aus skurrilen Gestalten, der fantastischen Pixelart Grafik und dem sehr ausgewogenen und motivierenden Gameplay haben mich vollends überzeugt. Für mich ist Blasphemous 2 bisher das beste Metroidvania 2023!

When all is said and done I believe Blasphemous 2 will sit high atop the Metroidvania Pantheon. However, throughout almost my entire time with the game, I couldn’t get the first game out of my mind – thinking how I should go back and play it again or finish off all of the free bonus DLC. The new weapon system with its three separate weapons gives this a good amount of replayability and allows for many different playstyles which is great. As a whole, the sequel is much more approachable for new players to the genre, and while there are plenty of improvements and quality-of-life additions, I can’t help but feel that Blasphemous 2 is the inferior product. Hopefully, the Game Kitchen plans on adding additional content here as they did with the original. I enjoyed my time with the game, but it needs something more to really draw me back in.

El único pero lo podemos encontrar en unas hitboxes que no están del todo pulidas y puede desquiciar al jugador en determinados momentos, empañando así unos combates que a veces resultan demasiado caóticos. Nuevas armas, nuevas magias, nuevas ideas, un mapa mejor diseñado y con más personalidad, sumado a un elenco de personajes memorables, hacen que este Blasphemous 2 sea un juego indispensable para todos los amantes de los metroidvania, que encontrarán aquí un juego muy divertido, disfrutable, tremendamente precioso y, sobre todo, blasfemo.

En definitiva, Blasphemous II es un gran juego que sigue demostrando que el desarrollo español está en constante evolución, regalando juegos capaces de codearse con las más altas esferas. Puede que haya aspectos que mejorar para que la fórmula sea todo lo refinada que se espera en un metroidvania, pero consigue dejar mejores sensaciones que su antecesor, alzándose como un juego más completo, que sabe reinventarse y buscar nuevas técnicas para sorprender al jugador. No cabe duda de que estamos ante uno de los equipos de desarrollo con más talento de nuestro país y solo puedo esperar impaciente para saber qué será lo próximo con lo que nos sorprendan porque, si siguen esta línea ascendente, nos queda diversión para largo, aunque no sea mediante una penitencia.

Blasphemous 2 is a very challenging game but by and large, it’s a fair one, too. Timing, persistence, and the ability to read patterns — not brute force — are the only keys to making it out the other side. In terms of level design and weapon variety, it’s a step forward from the first game. If you enjoyed Blasphemous, the sequel will feel both familiar and surprising in equal measure.

Blasphemous 2 è un ottimo sequel che mira alle principali criticità del suo predecessore e prova a smussarne gli angoli, riuscendoci perlopiù, ma non sempre. Un metroidvania che ora può dirsi veramente tale grazie a un miglioramento del platforming e del level design su tutta la linea, peccato per il combattimento che, seppur godendo di maggiore varietà, pecca ancora su alcuni difetti intrinseci. Un'atmosfera oscura e decadente ci ha avvolti inesorabilmente per tutte le 17 ore che sono state necessarie per vedere uno dei due finali possibili (con alta probabilità che ve ne siano di nascosti) e completare il gioco al 91%. Esplorazione, main quest, side quest, e ancora esplorazione. Sarà anche un more of the same, ma a noi non basterà mai. The Game Kitchen pls gib more.

Improving all three of Blasphemous 2’s new weapons isn’t as simple as pouring in skill points. To unlock tiers 2 and 3 for each, you’ll need to seek out a specific upgrade hidden on the map. This forces you to get to grips with a weapon that might not be your most preferred, as you never know which upgrade you’ll come across next.

Blasphemous premier du nom était une bonne surprise. Sa suite parvient à maintenir le niveau et à la surélever encore un peu, grâce à un aspect metroidvania plus développé, des armes à monter en compétences, un rétable à améliorer, etc. Il y a de nombreuses mécaniques à découvrir et surtout à maîtriser, car le moindre coup du plus petit mob peut vous retirer 1/3 de votre barre de vie. En plus, il y a de nombreux bonus cachés qui viennent prolonger la durée de vie, loin d’être artificiels car ils peuvent vous fournir des avantages bien utiles en combat. Si vous avez aimé souffrir sur Blasphemous, vous allez sans conteste adorer Blasphemous 2.

Blasphemous II es un sádico y desafiante metroidvania que aprovecha el folclore español para construir una atmósfera que absorbe desde el primer segundo. Es más ambicioso que su predecesor, ofreciendo un combate más rico y desafíos más variados, pero se apoya demasiado en ciertos recursos que a veces resultan repetitivos y su críptica historia puede no ser del agrado de todos.

To sum it up, Blasphemous II is a great title and sequel. While it might not be as long as the previous title, there is still so much room for expansion DLCs for later, similar to what they did with the previous title.

I can highly recommend Blasphemous 2 to anyone who hasn't had enough of Metroidvanias and isn't averse to a challenge. It's beautifully made, plays really well, and also offers enough room to improve without relying on experience points. And isn't it ultimately most rewarding to grow together with a game and see yourself constantly getting better?

The Game Kitchen arrive à faire très bien en conjugant jeux vidéo et folklore andalou. Il démontre à nouvelle sa maîtrise du metroidvania avec Blasphemous 2 en poussant plus la formule du premier épisode : trois armes directement intégrées au gameplay, une ambiance toujours aussi lugubre et des combats gratifiants loin d'être insolubles. Toutefois, ceux n'ayant pas accroché au premier épisode ne risquent pas d'être convertis tant l'évolution reste trop timide selon nous. Et si l'on satisfait notre soif d’exploration, celle de compréhension n'est jamais vraiment assouvie. C'est dommage pour une licence qui se veut être l'apôtre de cette période historique du sud de l'Espagne, d'autant qu'elle arrive avec brio à nous y plonger.

È Blasphemous fino al midollo, ma è ancora più bello da vedere con il suo immaginario macabro, più vario nel sistema di combattimento e più denso di contenuti. Certo, la trama continua a essere criptica, la componente platform è rimasta troppo in secondo piano per un metroidvania e, più importante, la curva della difficoltà è mal gestita con una buona fetta dell'avventura troppo facile e un picco di sfida nel finale. Nel complesso però parliamo di un gioco divertente che non fa mai perdere tempo al giocatore nelle fasi di backtracking. Ci sono margini di miglioramento, ma è assolutamente consigliato.

Blasphemous 2 mi ha appassionato, e tanto, ma interpretando il ruolo del recensore devo dichiararmi non completamente soddisfatto.

Blasphemous 2 in definitiva è un buon titolo con punte ottime. Migliora di fatto il primo episodio ma ne eredita quasi tutti i difetti ad iniziare da uno storyline scarso e banalizzante rispetto allo spessore del titolo. Graficamente accattivante perde un po’ del suo appeal in alcune location forzate dagli autori e decisamente fuori contesto sia per logiche che per palette. Il livello di sfida più basso del primo capitolo si attesta poco più in alto della media dei giochi del genere a cui bisogna aggiungere in un giudizio complessivo la poca soddisfazione che si ottiene una volta completate le side-quest. Sicuramente consigliato agli amanti del genere ed a chi ha platinato il primo capitolo con l’accortezza di non cedere alla malinconia dopo le 15 ore in cui il gioco avrà raccontato veramente tutto.

Blasphemous 2 è una perfetta incarnazione dei action soulslike metroidvania. Un titolo che consigliamo agli appassionati, un sequel che rende giustizia al potenziale espresso nel primo capitolo della saga. The Game Kitchen riesce nell’intento di portare a casa il risultato. Ogni elemento di gioco è ben equilibrato.

Comme le précédent opus, nous sommes plongés dans un environnement où la religion y est présentée de façon pervertie, malsaine et souvent très dérangeante. Malgré tout, le jeu réussit à attiser notre curiosité. On veut en découvrir toujours davantage, connaître tous les détails, ne rien louper de la narration. Cependant, la difficulté conséquente pourrait être un sérieux frein pour certains, un défi pour d’autres. Blasphemous II a ses chances pour être l’un des meilleurs jeux de l’année 2023 dans sa catégorie metroidvania / souls like.

Blasphemous 2 est une réussite. Si vous avez apprécié le premier voyage, vous allez ici adorer ce nouveau pèlerinage. Si vous êtes néophyte, pas de panique, vous n'avez pas spécialement besoin d'avoir fait le premier opus pour tenter l'aventure. Blasphemous 2 se suffit à lui-même. À la fois Metroidvania et Souls-like, le jeu pioche dans les deux mondes ce qui se fait de mieux et se construit des mécaniques perso dans la foulée. Le résultat est plus que convaincant. Le gameplay est accessible, mais exigeant, la difficulté bien présente, mais pas insurmontable pour autant et l'exploration est un plaisir, même si on peut facilement se perdre. Assurément, Blasphemous 2 est un jeu plutôt marquant, ne serait-ce que pour sa proposition et son univers qui traite de mythologie et de religion d'une manière que l'on voit peu finalement. La direction artistique et le bestiaire qui en résultent sont eux aussi dans le haut du panier, malgré quelques redites avec le premier épisode. Le tout baigne dans une OST savoureuse pour les oreilles et profite d'un pixel art de haute volée. Amoureux du genre, fan de la licence ou simples curieux, foncez !

Despite the numerous additions and subtractions, I found myself addicted to Blasphemous 2. I was constantly scouring the map for new paths or hidden items and enjoying the smooth new movement. The gripes don’t take away from what a vast improvement Blasphemous 2 is from its predecessor. It’s slightly less punishing while polishing up a lot of the rough edges. Right when I started to feel the fatigue is when the game ended. The customization is substantial and the story brings even more rich lore to this world. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Cvstodia and plan on going back to 100% it, after I’ve had a bit of a break. Thank the miracle, this game rules.

Blasphemous 2 continues the achievements set by its predecessor while adding three new ways to fight. Not straying outside the lines, Blasphemous 2 is simply more Blasphemous at the end of the day.

Blasphemous 2’s distinct visuals and unique gameplay spins set it apart from other Metroidvania titles, and its superb polish puts it high on the pile. It’s a fantastic side-scrolling action title, regardless of whether or not you played the first game. The bizarre and eerie imagery, responsive controls, and expansive world should keep you thoroughly engrossed for many hours on end. If you’re a Castlevania fan or a pixel art aficionado, it's absolutely worth purchasing this Editors' Choice winner for platforming games.

Overall, Blasphemous 2 is great. Its difficulty curve is very steep though and you should only play this one if you like Dark Souls type games. If you do like those types of games, you’ll find a solid Metriodvana and a good looking game. Blasphemous 2 is a great addition to the Nintendo Switch eshop!

Ultimately Blasphemous 2 is a good title with excellent points. It actually improves the first episode but inherits almost all its defects starting with a poor and trivializing storyline compared to the thickness of the title. Graphically captivating, it loses some of its appeal in some locations forced by the authors and decidedly out of context both in terms of logic and palette. The lowest challenge level of the first chapter is slightly higher than the average of games of the genre to which we must add in an overall judgment the little satisfaction that is obtained once the side-quests are completed. Definitely recommended to lovers of the genre and to those who platinum the first chapter with the foresight not to give in to melancholy after the 15 hours in which the game will have truly told everything.

A significant improvement on the original and undoubtedly the best 2D Soulslike game so far, with a macabre and imaginative style all of its own.

2023 has been a banner year for games, and it’s clear that Blasphemous 2 sits in the upper echelons of those releases, a beautifully grotesque Metroidvania that’s deserving of everyone's time.

Non è un sequel che reinventa le meccaniche della saga ma è più il frutto della precisa volontà del team di donare ai fan un’esperienza metroidvania di livello.

Blasphemous 2 is a bold, bloody, brilliant sequel that betters everything that came before it. The Game Kitchen have polished, refined, and re-energised this franchise, crafting a fantastically unique and compelling souls-like, metroidvania that may just be one of the best things Team 17 have ever published.

Blasphemous 2 is a streamlined sequel that any genre fan can enjoy, especially with its creepy cast of characters and superb bosses.

Blasphemous 2 es una secuela que está a la altura de lo esperado. Si te ciñes directamente a la línea principal de progresión, puedes llegar al final del juego en unas 15 horas. Ofreciéndonos un mayor abanico de armas para elegir en combate, y una jugabilidad mucho más ligera y rápida que la de su predecesor, consigue atraparnos en una historia amplia que se cuenta pedacito a pedacito.

Pour en finir, Blasphemous 2 est une amélioration en tout point du premier. Les animations et le pixel art sont superbes, tout en supportant le worldbuilding. Techniquement, il n’y a rien à redire, le jeu ne ralentit pas et je n’ai rencontré aucun bug lors de mon test. Outre que quelques accros en matière de rythme, tant sur les aspects du platforming que du combat, des inégalités dans la qualité des bosses et de son récit franchement superficiel malgré un monde intéressant, Blasphemous 2 vaut le détour pour les fans du genre et du premier. Et pas juste à petites dose!

Questo sequel fa un passo in avanti evidente, ma perde inspiegabilmente per strada parte delle meraviglie artistiche sfoggiate dal capostipite, pur non scendendo mai sotto quella soglia qualitativa che avrebbe compromesso in piccola parte le ambizioni di The Games Kitchen.

Ha sido un placer volver a ponerme a los mandos del Penitente, y una satisfacción sacar todo el jugo que propone Blasphemous II, el cual (por suerte) se encuentra disponible en todas las plataformas. 

Blasphemous 2 is a sequel that knows how to improve a brilliant concept, previously held back by a dull combat system and a under-developed skill system. The art in the game and the monster design shine less in this second chapter of the series, but variety is now assured.

Blasphemous 2 is a fun and reward-driven Metroidvania that is sure to please series fans and is a good entry point for any platformer action gamers looking for explorative gameplay. While not groundbreaking in any specific aspect, Blasphemous 2 gives an excellent amount of gameplay for a very good price and is thus well worth its value.

A beautiful, dark, and atmospheric game set in one of the most alluring Souls-like game settings of recent years that hits too many of the same notes as its predecessor to have quite the same impact.

All in all, Blasphemous 2 is a great game of this style. It performed exceptionally on the Steam Deck which is where I played most of the game; in fact, it might be the best Steam Deck experience I have had so far. Roughly 20 hours of satisfying exploration of a fascinating world resulted in me eager to return to the first game and tackle the more challenging extras.

Blasphemous 2's arresting religious imagery and massive world help to offset its rote boss design and confusingly pretentious narrative.

Crafting a successful sequel is a delicate endeavor, as it requires harmonizing innovation with the essence of the original concept. In the case of Blasphemous 2, the intention to refine the combat mechanics is evident, albeit at the cost of diverting attention from some of the distinctive elements that initially captured interest. Consequently, the sequel’s journey can feel somewhat risk-averse and lacking in ambition. While returning enthusiasts of the first game might find certain enjoyable aspects, Blasphemous 2 struggles to achieve the same remarkable standards set by its predecessor.

Though steeped in stunning artwork and illuminated by its intriguing lore, Blasphemous 2 is ultimately a paint-by-numbers Metroidvania title that is occasionally more frustrating than it is fun.

Blasphemous 2 es más dificil que su antecesor. Mas largo. Más inquietantemente hermoso. Pero sobretodo, más irreverente y provocador. Solo apto para penitentes.

I enjoyed my time with Blasphemous 2. I’ve unlocked both endings, scoured and pillaged the entire map, and completed every quest I could find, and, where I found the first game severely wanting in the fun factor, the sequel delivered in spades. Despite this, it’s held back by simplistic quests and bosses so unfair as to taint the whole experience. At certain points, thematic suffering bleeds through the cracks in the fourth wall and becomes part of the gameplay.

It’s that consistent friction that’ll make Blasphemous 2 a hard sell for those who don’t already worship at the church of Castlevania. It’s a series of mountains to be climbed, with jagged handholds that’ll often send players tumbling back down to the bottom. At times, it can be demoralizing — or worse — a little boring. There’s always something beyond that peak, though, so long as you’re devoted enough to endure the climb, bloodied palms and all. Have faith that it’s worth the pain and you’ll always find the light on the other side, even if the deadly rewards you find earn you a first-class ticket to Hell.

Blasphemous 2 is a well-constructed but ultimately conventional Metroidvania, and while it still delivers on holy grotesquerie and striking visuals, the end result is a sequel that feels markedly smaller in scope.

Blasphemous 2 is more ambitious than its predecessor with its fleshed-out swordplay and cleaner dedication to the search action genre. And while these additions give Blasphemous 2 more of an identity, they also give it more room to stumble. Said deeper combat is sticky and held back by its dedication to being adjacent to the soulslike genre. Its narrative tries to broaden the game’s world but suffers because of its lack of a solid recap and overreliance on cryptic storytelling. It’s an artistically sublime world but seemingly pays penitence with its uneven gameplay.

Blasphemous 2 is a challenging Souls-like Metroidvania, with a top-notch atmosphere. Unfortunately, it will also challenge your patience, given its confusing plot, intentional vagueness, and repetitive use of the same puzzle platforming mechanics.

Blasphemous 2 is a safe and competently-made sequel with a cool looking visual style, aimed at any fans of good metroidvanias. Just be sure to play it in short bursts, otherwise you'll risk burning yourself out with overall simplicity and all too familiar tropes of the genre as a whole.

Incredible art direction and a fantastic atmosphere keep Blasphemous 2 interesting, even when the frustrating difficulty spikes do their best to make the game too frustrating to be any fun.

Si Blasphemous me enamoró en su momento, su continuación me ha llevado a rayar en la obsesión. Se siente el mismo juego, pero a la vez uno completamente distinto. Las mejorías en los niveles y las mecánicas nuevas se funden en un mundo que ya conocía y amaba, aumentando su complejidad y dotándolo de un desafío aún mayor. Y, a pesar de la tragedia que comporta todo aquello que se acerca al Milagro, este metroidvania es uno de los juegos que recomendaré, sin duda, a todas las personas que sientan curiosidad por el camino de Penitente.

The Game Kitchen ha conseguido dejarnos un juego magnífico con Blasphemous 2. Tal vez no sea perfecto por ciertos detalles, pero su enigmático y vasto mundo, sus peculiares personajes, sus brutales combates, su banda sonora repleta de temazos y un doblaje digno de aplaudir sin parar, forma un conjunto que convierte a este título en uno de los mejores de este verano.

Blasphemous 2 es un muy buen ejemplo de lo que una secuela debería ser. Viene con todos los deberes hechos: los controles son más precisos y mejores, las nuevas ideas vienen bien implementadas, el diseño del mundo es fresco pero también se ha consolidado mucho como metroidvania, y encima está lleno de momentos íntimos con un apartado visual y sonoro de lo más cuidado. En The Game Kitchen han estado cocinando exactamente el juego que necesitábamos, ni más ni menos; y si la propuesta te llama en lo más mínimo, se me hace difícil pensar que no te satisfaga. No es que "se defienda", es que mola.

Blasphemous II es, en este sentido, una de las muestras más poderosas y coherentes que puede ofrecer hoy la industria. The Game Kitchen ha sabido trasladar al píxel, con una maestría admirable, el imponente imaginario de Enrique Cabeza, respetando su crudeza y su belleza —algo más luminosa en esta ocasión— sin perder un ápice de identidad.

En última instancia, se trata de una experiencia tan extraña como maravillosa. Cualquiera puede disfrutarla y dejarse arrastrar por su imaginería, pero quienes hemos crecido entre estas referencias —religiosas, artísticas y populares— sentimos que el juego dialoga con algo que reconocemos de forma instintiva. No es una experiencia más legítima, pero se siente propia, una resonancia particular que se superpone a lo que el juego ya ofrece por sí mismo.

Porque no es lo mismo leer La casa de Bernarda Alba, contemplar El entierro del Conde de Orgaz, o escuchar El amor brujo cuando forman parte de tu paisaje cultural que cuando los descubres desde fuera. Blasphemous II opera de manera similar: toma elementos de una tradición concreta y los transforma en un lenguaje universal. Y es en ese gesto —honesto, respetuoso y profundamente artístico— donde reside gran parte de su grandeza.

Blasphemous 2 es una secuela que mejora todos los aspectos y mecánicas de su predecesor. Desde la exploración y el combate, hasta su interesante historia y apartado técnico. Además, en esta ocasión se siente que abraza su naturaleza metroidvania dándonos una habilidad de doble salto real. Debo admitir que hubo momentos donde me sentí irritado. Por ejemplo, cuando era golpeado en medio de la animación de levantarme (algo bastante frecuente en salas tipo ‘desafío’ que se llenan de enemigos), o tener que repetir algunas cinemáticas al perder contra determinados jefes. Nada que no se arregle con un git gud. Como sea, quedé encantado con el nuevo trabajo de The Game’s Kitchen. Sin remordimiento alguno, los invito a adentrarse a este religioso mundo y cumplir con la penitencia, independientemente de si hayan jugado o no a la anterior entrega. Creo que aquellos ávidos de aventuras sabrán apreciarlo de igual manera.

Blasphemous 2 no es perfecto. Sin embargo, es un perfecto trabajo. Se nota sobremanera el aprendizaje del equipo tras el desarrollo de la primera entrega y es indudable el esfuerzo dedicado a esta segunda. Los juegos de acción y plataformas en dos dimensiones cuentan con muchos aficionados, así como con gran cantidad de puristas y detractores de qué es un metroidvania y qué no lo es. Aún así, no necesitará servirse de gran esfuerzo para contentar a gran parte del público. Conmigo al menos, lo ha tenido fácil desde el minuto uno.
