Koral’s initial premise looks simple but it holds a much more deep and profound meaning. You feel true wonder and amazement as you bring life back to the underwater world. It has reawakened a passion in this old Diver’s soul of mine and I find it both educational and impactful.

Overall, there is much to enjoy and appreciate when it comes to the passion and hard work the developer put into Super Hydorah. The retro graphics are lovingly crafted, the soundtrack is fitting for the genre, and the gameplay feels classic, yet adds modern twists to create a unique experience. For the most part, the gameplay is solid but this is an extremely hardcore shooter through-and-through, and is one of the most difficult one’s I’ve played. That being said, if you love shooters you will adore Super Hydorah.

Overall, Debris Infinity is a solid budget priced twin-stick shooter that doesn’t feel cheap. This is a Geometry Wars-lite title that features simplistic, but fun controls and enough modes to make leaderboard chasing enjoyable. There’s not much to Debris Infinity, but there doesn’t have to be with how simple and fun it is to just play a few quick rounds each day.

Overall, Rise & Shine takes a very common genre and tries to turn it all upside down with unique bullet mechanics and story. It attempts to do something new with a gun that can think, and it will be easy for anyone to enjoy who is looking for an interesting mix of puzzle arcade shooting and bullet-hell action. Unfortunately, some of the gameplay mechanics did not feel right and while it tries many things, it never excels at any of them. Still, Rise & Shine looks great and the shooting felt satisfying and fun.

Overall, Neonwall is an immediately addicting and very difficult puzzle title. On one hand, I enjoyed the challenge and couldn’t wait to come back, but on the other (hand,) I was turned off by some of the ridiculous difficulty spikes, especially when time is not on your side. Even so, the visuals, music and presentation made it a jump back into the puzzle solving madness. Neonwall features a unique puzzle-solving mechanic and is one I hope more games will try to incorporate in the future.

Super Toy Cars could be seen as a modest and cost-effective alternative to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe but to be fair, you really can’t compare the two. Fun can be had, especially with other players and it can be entertaining for a while but you won’t be sitting around for hours on end playing this game. A few rounds between playing other games will surely be its lot and at $9.99 you will still have a good time and a few laughs at each others expense.

By no means is Superola and the Lost Burgers the epic game Undercoders marketed it to be, as the boss battles are merely Rock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard, Spock battles, but there is challenging gameplay present, there is a versus mode and it is not the worst runner game to exist, as there are others that deserve the title.  So, it’s not the abysmal title many would have you believe, but given the number of more fantastic and better put together platformers that are available on Switch already, Superola and the Lost Burgers is a game you can do without having in your life.

By no means is Twin Robots: Ultimate Edition the best platformer game in the world, it has better responsive controls than most other platformers, it excels at being a co-op experience as players can go their separate ways and have the screen follow their actions, but more importantly, it is a great game for aspiring gamers to try out. It is an improved child-friendly title that you can allow your children to play and discover the platformer genre for themselves, or play it with them, as Twin Robots: Ultimate Edition is a game that can be enjoyed by adults also. Also when it releases on February 23, it will be available for the lower price of $6.49 as from the day it releases to March 5, it will be available at an introductory offer for a limited time, so if you do feel the need to check it out, then this weekend and next week is the time to do so.

The Count Lucanor isn’t necessarily bad, but it’s really not that good either, as the monsters fail to live up to ambiance the game’s soundtrack and whispers creates. It’s also a short game, which normally isn’t a bad thing, but it is when the game is The Count Lucanor and Hans is just too slow a moving protagonist that his turtle crawl literally bored me from start to finish. Now I hate to be the guy who says “give this game a miss,” but with the likes of Don’t Knock Twice and Super Mario Odyssey coming soon to Switch, there really is no point in picking it up now as it might make for a better purchase later on down the line, but if you do feel like picking up one Merge Games Switch title, Unbox: Newbie’s Adventure is out now and a huge step on from the lesser work that is showing its age that is The Count Lucanor.

I wish there was more I could say about this game but I couldn’t really engage with it. it has an interesting concept but I couldn’t stay interested in it long enough to continue playing. With a price tag of $4.99, it is not expensive and may be appealing enough to young children but in a world full of Platformers, RPGs and first-person shooters, I doubt this game will make much headway in the Videogaming market but will definitely be a useful tool to teach young children about 3D Modelling. For that I will give a generous score of 6/10. It isn’t going to be the next Angry Birds or Soduko but it will definitely be a good educational tool to teaching young children and those interested in modelling.
