Clue: Murder By Death

Clue: Murder by Death seems perfect for a niche audience, as it offers a mystery that requires player commitment and meaningful deduction skills to solve, with very few tools to make it easier. For a general audience, however, the game is likely to feel slow, awkward to play, and full of distracting load times, which come together to make a game that’s hard to engage with.

Lethal Honor: Order of the Apocalypse has a strong comic book identity, featuring amazing art, stylized graphics, and a well-paced story that will keep you interested to the end. While its roguelike and combat mechanics fall a bit short, they’re more than enough to keep you playing as you chase those awesome cutscenes and story arcs throughout.

Everdeep Aurora is a niche, atmospheric gem that trades gameplay intensity for mood, narrative, and artistic charm. While its loose structure and lack of conventional progression may alienate some players looking for more mechanical depth or direction, it succeeds as a relaxing exploration experience. If you’re in the mood for a gentle, thoughtful journey through a beautifully drawn underground world, this game might just be for you.

Get past the slow early game, and Blades of Fire really opens up into an interesting and highly satisfying souls-lite action adventure game. Though the defining forge mechanic could still use some work in my opinion, it still sets the game apart from other titles and makes for a very personalized ARPG experience.

Everhood 2 is a delightfully strange RPG, one that combines bullet hell mechanics with a rhythm game twist to create gameplay that is as unique as its storytelling. The difficulty can feel a bit hard, and the songs a bit short, but you’re sure to find an unforgettable experience in this unique title.

Summum Aeterna is a game with charm, even if it is a bit rough around the edges. At worst, the game’s roguelike and Metroidvania aspects feel like they clash, and at best, it feels like it was designed for a caliber of player better than me. Criticisms notwithstanding, Summum Aeterna is still a game worth checking out if it interests you, and my experience might not necessarily reflect yours.

There were many moments in The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood that had me audibly react, be that cheering in support or laughing at vengeance enacted perfectly. The freedom to create and see the future of those who rely on you feels like the pure power that it is, but the weight and consequences will weigh on you after the credits roll. As with previous Deconstructeam games, the appeal is more in the mechanics and narrative than the visuals.

The Creepy Syndrome is an ambitious little game, plagued by amateurish writing and cheap jump scares that at best won’t satisfy horror fans and at worse will annoy them. Scrap Riders is an interesting game, with fantastic visuals and sound design and a unique take on the beat-em-up genre. However it isn’t without its flaws, and the lack of confidence in its own identity really weighs down the experience. Hopefully Games For Tutti learns from the experience, because I would definitely like to see an improved sequel.
