If you’re looking for a simple, short, but enjoyable point-and-click adventure, Shadows of the Afterland is worth a look. The game features some strong environments and appealing visuals, but its storytelling lacks depth and the puzzles are fairly straightforward. Still, if you have four to five spare hours and are looking for a modestly priced experience, it offers a decent amount of fun.

Although being firm competition to Flynn's Arcade own offerings in this underused genre, the special ingredient in the cauldron that should make Freddy Farmer a real standout title, isn't really there. There is no equivalent to Bomb Jack's 'super jump' and steerable decent or Bubble Bobble's chain reacting and jumpable bubbles. That said, apart from that and a few frustrating mechanics, Freddy Farmer is a lot of fun and delivers a solid challenge that can keep you entertained for 5 to 10 hours.

Moons of Darsalon is at heart a return to nice gameplay mechanics with escort missions. However the gameplay is just not up to par. More often than not you will fail levels due to the stupid Darsanauts and the finicky commands. A good thing is that the game has a good sense of humour.

Super Woden GP 2 feels like a toy box overloaded with content, featuring 180 different cars and dozens of tracks. Arcade racing enthusiasts are in for some good old-fashioned fun. Unfortunately, you have to grind your way through the game to unlock and enjoy all it has to offer.
