Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound proves that going back to basics can be an excellent choice, especially when done right. With its finely tuned mechanics, replayable level structure, and fluid gameplay, the game delivers an exciting platforming experience that feels both familiar and fresh. Players are constantly rewarded for execution as the game sticks to a tried and true formula that feels perfected.
Despite some minor nitpicks regarding difficulty spikes and game length, Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound is another feather in the cap of an already successful series. As a new mainline installment looms on the horizon, this entry is an exceptional way to bide the time.

Blades of Fire is not a game for everyone, but players who choose to invest in its deep and highly involved systems will be treated with a title that rewards persistence and creativity. The game's combat and forging systems are the star of the show and really make it stand out among its contemporaries.
It is a surprise, especially from a developer such as MercurySteam. However, it is also dragged down by its uninspired story and world that would fail to hook players from its dreadful start and premise. It's a respectable effort and worth checking out if you overlook its flaws.

Blasphemous 2 is a solid recommendation not only for fans of Metroidvania and similar games. This may be the Metroidvania that’ll get you hooked the same way Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and Hollow Knight were the two titles that got me into the genre. It doesn’t even require you to get that good, just enough to get you to like it, and before you know it… you’re in it for the long haul.

BodyQuest is a successful educational experience, that even improved this reviewers knowledge of the human body which, for someone who works in an educational institution, is great to see. While the gameplay is nothing revolutionary, it does make learning fun. BodyQuest would have benefited from throwing more variety at the player with usable items, providing more and multiple enemies and even including a multiplayer system. Although reflecting on this, Artax Games have focused on their target audience and have made learning and video games a good time.

Mail Mole

Mail Mole is a surprisingly decent 3D platformer with smooth gameplay, fun level design and enjoyable challenges bogged down by a terrible soundtrack, cheating AI and the lack of any additional modes. There is fun to be had here for players of all ages and the pursuit of gold medals and unlocking all of Molty’s outfits can keep players coming back for a while.
