Blasphemous 2, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways

Crashy Laps is a simple, fun, and accessible title that lets the solid core mechanics do the heavy lifting. The ability to tweak the options to suit your tastes – and the fact that you can choose between top-down or isometric viewpoints is especially tasty! – is much appreciated, it’s great for quick blasts of retro racing fun with friends.

I had a lot of fun with Crisol: Theatre of Idols, I played for 12 hours and enjoyed every second of it, it does a good job adding little tweaks and quirks to established horror formula. Combat may be the thing that some people don’t find as satisfying as it can be, but I enjoyed it enough to highly recommend this title. I don’t usually talk about price, but for what Crisol: Theatre of Idols is currently priced at - you get a lot of bang for your buck.

It’s Morvin time

Killsquad is a good top-down shooter looter, with range - whether you're a solo player or looking for a co-op experience, there are plenty of challenging missions to complete and unique characters to play with. 

A delivery service game lacking magic

I hope a lot of folks connect with Neon Blood in a way that I sadly couldn’t, as there really is a lot to enjoy here, but the choices in gameplay mechanics did wear me down in the end.

This is a fundamentally sound game that is fun for short blasts and is perfectly priced – but lacks that little something extra to make it a strike.

An almost perfect little horror game that is tightly designed, based on a fantastic premise that is realised almost to its fullest and runs well with great audio and visuals. Good!

Make sure you get your hands on this surreal and pretty adventure that uses dark humour and scares to great effect. It will be well worth your time and I know that you will also fall in Love with it as much as I did from minute one!

The Creepy Syndrome may be too tame in terms of Blood ‘n Guts, or overly simplistic for some, but I had a fantastic couple of hours getting lost in this interactive horror story collection, it may not be a game that will shake the genre to its foundations but for the price, it’s a great way to spend an evening and has an Amiga-like pull to its design charms, I’m already looking forward to seeing what Boomfire come up with next!
