The right headset truly enhances experiencing the audio of DE-EXIT – Eternal Matters. This title was surprisingly fun. Some of the puzzles can be frustrating, but it is important to take a step back and examine all avenues. DE-EXIT – Eternal Matters offers a fair challenge to those looking for it. And it offers adventure to those who hunger for a new journey to venture on. Only the bravest and most cunning can restore the Pillars to their power. Are you the Lux that will make that happen?

DE-EXIT – Eternal Matters is a beautifully crafted game overall, and it also has an incredibly rich story. The visual design might seem a bit odd at first but it really shines in later parts of the game as you progress. This is definitely a game that needs some patience in the beginning since you don’t get much to run with, but it is well worth the wait and the effort. While DE-EXIT – Eternal Matters did have one or two minor stutters, they don’t ruin the gameplay at all and they are to be expected considering DE-EXIT – Eternal Matters was built with Unity.

DE:EXIT – Eternal Matters is a very pleasant surprise. The world on offer is brilliant, rich for exploration and complemented with relaxing gameplay. The story is good too, especially in terms of the writing and brilliant characters. You could also point at the simple yet challenging mechanics. And whilst there are a few minor problems with the camera and accuracy, it doesn’t take away the fact that DE:EXIT – Eternal Matters is such an original piece of work.

De-Exit es un título basado en los puzles, plataformas y momentos de sigilos, que junto con su increíble ambientación nos contará una historia sobre la muerte y el más allá. \"Toda una oda a la vida\".

Visually DE-EXIT has a striking voxel art style; similar in ways to Minecraft, where blocks and smooth shapes are the way… blending fairy-tale and sci-fi themes together. This visual choice gives everything an almost childlike feel at times. An interesting choice when you look at it given the games core theming, tale and subject matter. Sound wise music is used sparingly, though there are some nice synth strings tracks to be found, but most of the time it heavily relies on ambient sounds and build an atmosphere with more than a hint of wonder. There is also some voice acting for characters you’ll find along the way, which adds to the tale nicely even though you never speak. DE-EXIT – Eternal Matters is an interesting and at times charming title that aims to bring up some real questions, that will have you thinking about what it’s asking long after the credits roll. Although it’s a bit rough on the technical side at times and the puzzles never get too taxing, it holds together for the most part.

With existential theming and some nice visuals, De-Exit - Eternal Matters is a game I want to like. Unfortunately, imprecise controls, tedious sections, and a litany of bugs leave it reaching for so much more.
