Bleak Sword DX provides an enchanting experience that will keep you engaged throughout your journey. It may not be for everyone, but if you're up for a challenge and appreciate artistic pixel graphics, this indie title is well worth your time.

Do Not Feed The Monkeys 2099 does what it sets out to do as a voyeur simulator. Watch, research, and inspect each cage and report your findings, or forge your own path and succumb to the results of defying The Primate Observation Club.

Death or Treat is a 2D action hack-and-slash roguelite that shows a lot of promise being an indie developer's first project. The game's adorable visuals can only carry it so far, as the experience is boggled down by uninspired gameplay mechanics and technical issues.

Curse of the Sea Rats is a comfortable, unique Metroidvania game with a good story, characters, and stunning aesthetics. It lacks challenge and a difficulty selector, but supports up to four-player couch co-op, so you can save the Admiral's son together.

Windfolk is a great game, with excellent flying, several gorgeous open environments to explore, an exciting and captivating narrative, and, on occasions, enjoyable combat. It's also a short, often buggy game, that leaves the player wanting more once it's wrapped up. While it offers an arcade mode with an additional seven missions to play through, it still doesn't make up for the all too brief story mode. There's a lot of ambition and great ideas here, which is evident in Windfolk's best moments, and it's nice to see more double-A games being released. Let's hope Fractal Fall's next game will see them expanding their ambitions to a bigger and better project.
