Farm Together, is a charming game. It absolutely home runs, what it is trying to be. However, when you take this game, and put it on a PORTABLE, in FULL FORM, it’s something truly special. With a Switch in your pocket, Farm Together, is fabulous, for short-session gameplay, as you can literally jump in, and out, of your farm, for as little, or as long, as you’d like. There is so much nuance to the gameplay, that there will always be something to do, if you have 5 min to kill, or, literally, 5 hours. Farm Together, on Nintendo Switch, is absolute portable Perfection. Oh, and yes, it runs smooth in Handheld also! There is no way around it. If you enjoy chill gaming, at ALL, Farm Together, is a must own. My 1st ever perfect Score. WHY? Because it delivers, exactly what it advertises.

Farm Together is like an addictive mobile phone game but with modern graphics and none of those annoying ads or Microtransactions. Either with friends or solo, this game is the definition of fun, a time-waster, and relaxing. When you’re not sowing seeds or planting trees, you’ll be harvesting fruit, fishing, picking up eggs, or even playing ‘Twinkle Twinkle’ on the piano. There’s a lot to do and see down on the farm, the farm which you can fully customise and create into your own paradise or a simple allotment.

There is SO much to like about Farm Together. Its addictive loop of planting and harvesting is tried and tested and should keep players coming back at least once a day, but factor in the cheery graphics, fantastic soundtrack, customisation options and a cleverly thought out online system, and you have one hell of a package.

Farm Together is a whimsical farming simulator that seeks to improve on its predecessor, Avatar Farm, that was released on the Xbox 360 arcade. Milkstone Studio has gone above and beyond to create a visually pleasing farming experience that is relaxing and low stress, however they may have gotten overzealous with their varied currency and leveling systems. The safeguards against griefers helps to make online coop play more rewarding and beneficial for every one involved.

Overall I won’t hesitate in recommending this game if you just want something casual to spend a bit of time with, the game has a therapeutic edge and really takes you away to its own little world. I’d also give kudos to the developers for their work on balancing the game and the lack of horrendous paywalls. There are a couple of DLC packs available for purchase which are purely cosmetic, they are not in any way a forced purchase, given the great price of the game I’m sure people will snap them up.

Estamos ante un juego maravilloso de creación y gestión de granjas que desprende personalidad por los cuatro costados y donde siempre tenemos algo que hacer. Su vertiente más arcade hace que sea un juego muy adictivo del cual puede disfrutar cualquier miembro de la familia ya que su control nos es para nada exigente y es muy intuitivo. Es precioso y funciona de maravilla en consola y tenemos tantos tipos de hortalizas, árboles y animales que nunca nos aburrimos de probar cosas nuevas. Su sencillez hace que sea un juego estupendo para dedicarle un montón de horas o simplemente para adecentar la granja durante media hora y pasar a otra cosa. Eso ya depende del tipo de jugador que seas. Su modalidad online es la gota que colma el vaso y resulta muy instructivo y gratificante visitar otras granjas y jugar con otras personas.

Farm Together delivers countless hours of excellent farming in a charming and lovely world. There's too much to do and you're constantly wanting to go back. The crops do take some time, you may visit the game periodically. That element feels somewhat like a mobile title, but that's fine as it works well here. It's a living world so it's always changing even though you're not there.

The game’s hands-off approach allows for a more relaxed and carefree affair, which is massively refreshing when we consider the current farming trend that tends to favor realism and constriction above all else. Putting its slightly convoluted mechanics aside, Farm Together offers a relatively light-hearted and fun experience that, although repetitive in the long run, manages to stand tall and firm.

While NPC characters ask you for specific hauls of food, you don’t really interact with other characters. You also don’t travel to any towns – it’s all about your farm and making it bigger. That alone is more than enough to satisfy. I am having a blast playing this game with my daughter, and it’s just nice to see a game that doesn’t make you stress in any way. Just sit back, relax, and watch the fields grow.

So, the big question… now that I’ve played Farm Together for some time, will I continue to spend time tending to my crops?, Well, the answer is that I might just do so. The more you play the more repetitive it seems to get; I already feel that I’ve done most of what the game has to offer and can’t see the thrill of unlocking a new vegetable is going to keep a hold on me for much longer. But popping in every now and then for a walk through the French country garden at sunset or a wade through the piranha pond is still pretty appealing.

Whether solo or together, this is a farming game that is simply enjoyable to plough through.

Farm Together est un bon petit jeu. Attention, si vous êtes du genre à vouloir progresser très vite, passer votre chemin. Ce jeu s’adresse avant tout à des personnes possédant une grande patience, et qui aiment jouer avec des amis. Le jeu possède également un style graphique qui peut ne pas plaire à tout le monde. Néanmoins, celui-ci plaira à un public plus jeune. Si vous vous attendez un jeu de simulation agricole du style Farming Simulator, nous ne pouvons que vous conseiller de vous diriger vers un autre jeu.

You aren’t saving the world, or even making a difference in it. The player won’t be meeting a final boss or seeing a resolution to a conflict. There’s no princess locked away in a castle; no resurgence of a formerly dormant ancient evil that must be stopped. You don’t and won’t have any worries . . . at all. It may be a silly thing to complain about, but no matter how small, I enjoy having a sense of purpose. Call me old fashioned, but that’s my opinion and I’m sticking to it. Maybe after I’m done saving the world I’ll come back and retire to my quaint, quiet farm life. Until that day comes, excuse me while I go find my sword.

If it wasn’t for its mobile gaming elements, Farm Together would be easy to recommend. As it is, it’s a fun game to play in short bursts, but there’s no overlooking its bewildering design choices.

A falta de llegar a la versión final, sólo puedo decir que personalmente he disfrutado durante horas de una experiencia sencilla, directa, pero bien pensada y ejecutada, que es exactamente lo que se puede esperar de cualquier juego. No es para todo el mundo, pero para el que busque un tipo de juego así -y creo que quien lo haga sabrá exactamente lo que busca- es una compra imprescindible.
