Star Trek Prodigy: Supernova es un buen juego para el target infantil para el que se ha creado que nos aportará muchas horas de diversión. Lógicamente a los que somos fans de la serie nos será una compra imprescindible y para los que no, es una compra bastante recomendable. El conjunto total del juego está bien orquestado y aunque dispone de algunos peros, no empañan en demasía el resultado final.

Visually Star Trek Prodigy: Supernova looks good with a nice art style that mirrors that of the show, as for sound a lot of voice talent from the show returns; including Kate Mulgrew as Janeway, Brett Gray as Dal R’El and Ella Purnell as Gwyndala… to name but a few.  Although there are issues around audio mixing with the overall music being washed out by the sound effects and voice more often than not and oddly subtitles matching up with the actual spoken lines at times.  Star Trek Prodigy: Supernova is a light hearted outing that delivers a deeper dive into a world that fans will enjoy, serving up a solid experience and fun co-op along the way too.

We expected Star Trek Prodigy: Supernova to arrive in a red shirt, virtually dead on arrival. Instead, we’ve got a game with substance and style, and there’s nothing more Star Trek than that.

Star Trek Prodigy: Supernova is a straightforward, easy to understand adventure game that does its job of being approachable for a younger audience. The inclusion of optional cooperative multiplayer locally on a single system earns it some bonus points for being playable with friends, siblings, or parents. Fans of the series will also find plenty to enjoy from familiar characters. While combat can get a little repetitive, the puzzles are genuinely inventive. Ultimately whether a trekkie or not, Supernova provides a reasonably solid experience with fun multiplayer that is approachable for everyone.
