Visualmente, o jogo opta por uma estética colorida e estilizada que remete diretamente aos clássicos como Spyro ou Croc. A mistura entre a arquitetura rústica catalã e os elementos mecânicos cria um contraste visual interessante. As músicas são leves e atmosféricas, ajudando a manter o jogador em um estado de relaxamento, mesmo durante os combates contra chefes. É uma ambientação que abraça o jogador em vez de pressioná-lo.

Manairons ist ein solides Action-RPG mit interessanter Welt und dynamischem Kampfsystem. Du bekommst eine klassische, aber funktionierende Story, taktische Gefechte und eine stimmige Atmosphäre. Es fehlt dem Spiel zwar an echter Innovation, und manche Mechaniken wiederholen sich im späteren Verlauf, doch insgesamt bietet es ein rundes Erlebnis für Fans düsterer Fantasy-Abenteuer.

Tot i algunes rigideses en el control, la mecànica de la flauta i la seva cuidada ambientació el converteixen en un títol destacat dins del panorama de país. Una joia amb identitat que celebra amb orgull la nostra cultura.

Non fraintendete le mie parole, il gioco si lascia giocare e finire in modo lineare e senza troppi patemi ma, è davvero adatto ad un pubblico navigato? Probabilmente la risposta è no: le fasi platform sono semplici così come i puzzle, i Boss non rappresenteranno mai una vera sfida ed i nemici normali che incontrerete saranno poco scaltri e solo proni a farsi eliminare con moltissima stupidità.

Possono essere tutti difetti condivisibili che però non inficiano la bellezza grafica e sonora di un titolo probabilmente rivolto ad un pubblico più casuale o più giovane, ma che affronta tematiche interessanti e vi permette di vivere in prima persona un\'avventura colorata e decisamente divertente ed appagante.

Manairons is a charming 2.5D adventure with lovely art, creative puzzles and a cosy folklore setting. The town of Vilamont is fun to explore, the bosses stand out and the flute melodies add personality. Some rough edges hold it back, like basic combat, tricky jump readability and a few performance issues, but it remains an enjoyable and imaginative little journey.

Manairons es un juego de plataformas 3D con bastante personalidad y con un fuerte vínculo cultural. No nos encontramos ante un juego rompedor, pero tiene algunos elementos que ofrecen un toque fresco para quienes buscan algo diferente dentro del género. Un juego algo torpe en los combates, y muy básico a nivel de plataformas y puzzles, pero que llega a generar interés gracias a sus mecánicas musicales y su historia.

Sinceramente es un título que recomendaría, ya que no dura más de 5 o 6 horas y ofrece bastante variedad, pero sobre todo porque es una oportunidad fantástica para conocer el folclore pirenaico que seguro os va a resultar fascinante. Un aventura con sus limitaciones, pero muy entrañable y simpática, que acaba por ofrecer algo diferente.

En definitiva, Manairons es un título especial por su ambientación, su historia, sus personajes y su universo, pero que como videojuego todavía flaquea en aspectos de pulido claramente solucionables mediante parches. Personalmente, no conocía prácticamente nada de esta cultura, y el hecho de que el juego haya conseguido acercármela y despertar mi interés por ella está, para mí, muy por encima de cualquier otro apartado.

Pour conclure, Manairons est un adorable petit jeu qui nous transporte à merveille dans le folklore catalan. La direction artistique est colorée, l’aventure est mignonne, et l\'ost et le doublage en catalan donnent tout son charme au jeu. Mais la caméra fixe est un vrai problème à nos yeux. Il suffit d’un mauvais placement, et c\'est la mort assurée. Et quand on enchaîne les morts, ça en devient frustrant et lassant. C’est dommage, car ça reste une très bonne aventure à découvrir.

Un platform 3D che racconta una storia originale attraverso meccaniche musicali, folklore e un mondo fiabesco attraversato da temi moderni. Una proposta interessante per chi cerca un’avventura leggera, creativa e diversa dal solito, capace di distinguersi grazie alla propria identità culturale e stilistica.

Manairons is fine folklore-inspired fantasy experience. The 3D puzzles are enjoyable and the story is captivating. However, the combat is a little lacklustre and that may annoy some people.

Manairons spicca per stile, atmosfera, folklore e qualche idea tanto negli enigmi quanto nella costruzione del level design. Per quanto riguarda l’aspetto ludico, invece, nonostante un buon impatto nostalgico, il titolo presenta una telecamera fissa spesso d’ostacolo e diverse imprecisioni nel gameplay (tra cui la terribile arrampicata) che possono dar vita anche a momenti involontariamente frustranti. Chiunque riuscirà ad andare oltre ciò, si troverà comunque un’esperienza piacevole da portare a termine.

Por conseguir cumprir com o que promete, mesmo tendo um leve bug, minha nota é 7/10. Acredito que o bug seja fácil de corrigir. Meu maior problema é não ter uma mira em batalha. E claro, Manairons não se tornaria um dos meus novos jogos favoritos, principalmente porque não costumo gostar de títulos focados em puzzles. Manairons is a 3D action platformer inspired by the legends of little creatures living in the Pyrenees. You’ll be placed in the role of Nai, a small magical creature awakened after centuries of captivity, and you’ll be exploring the village of Vilamont as you try to overcome platforming challenges, solve melody-based puzzles, and battle against bosses who are ready to put your skills to the test. You were locked inside an ancient artifact known as the canut.

Manairons is a platform game built around a creative idea: turning a Catalan folklore legend into an interactive adventure. Nai’s story of freeing magical creatures and confronting the industrialization of the village carries enough charm and personality to sustain the journey.

The problem is that, from a design perspective, the game often feels tied to solutions from another era. Limited movement, a somewhat rigid camera and certain combat interactions create the impression of a title that could have benefited from further refinement.

Even so, there is something genuinely interesting in its proposal. The visual identity, the use of music as a gameplay mechanic and the construction of this small universe inspired by regional legends show that there was a solid idea at the heart of the project.

Manairons is not a bad game, but it leaves the impression that it could have achieved much more with additional polish and refinement in its core mechanics. Still, for players who enjoy platformers with unique identity and folkloric inspiration, Nai’s journey can offer some curious moments along the way.

Entramos ya en el terreno de las conclusiones afirmando que Manairons es un buen juego pero que puede sentirse algo corto en ciertos aspectos. Quizás vaya dirigido a un público más infantil o aquellos que se inicien en el género. Sin duda, si buscas un juego profundo y con mecánicas complejas no será aquí donde lo encuentres. Por otro lado, hablamos de un buen juego de puzles y plataformas con algún que otro problema en el combate. Si buscas un plataformas sencillo y correcto, Manairons no te defraudará. Pero si eres de los que ya tiene mucha experiencia en el género, se te puede quedar algo corto. 

Manairons becomes a short, atmospheric interactive tale: a dark folk‑tinged fable that sparks wonder even when its gameplay shows its seams. Nai’s flute is a clever idea, the bosses are charming, and the art direction gives real personality to an otherwise simple world. The rough edges in platforming, combat, and technical polish are noticeable but don’t undermine an experience that stays coherent and enjoyable within its modest scope. A small, sincere title that wins you over and proves how even tiny projects can tell stories that linger.

After playing for a while, everything quickly feels repetitive. The graphics and backgrounds are still decent enough. But the gameplay could be a bit more engaging. You're constantly jumping around, occasionally tackling a puzzle or a fight, only to do the same thing in the next room. Of course, that's the basis of a 3D platformer, but still... I'm afraid this is a game that, despite its generally positive first impression, needs some work. The glitches, the less-than-captivating puzzles, and the subpar combat system are a serious letdown. Especially for a current price of €24.99, some adjustments should be made before it's worth the price.

Manairons är ett blygsamt plattformsspel vars brister till viss del vägs upp av dess enkla charm. Det får mig stundvis att drömma mig tillbaka till en tid då plattformsspel var väldigt spartanska i sin stil, men ändå lyckades att med att underhålla en. Det här äventyret kanske inte kommer att göra något större avtryck inom spelvärlden, men för yngre spelare eller den som söker enklare upplevelser kan det passa rätt bra.

Manairons ist insgesamt ein ordentliches 3D Jump & Run mit düsterer Atmosphäre, das aber von zahlreichen Bugs – darunter wie gesagt einem für mich fatalen – und mangelndem Feinschliff in den Spielmechaniken zurückgehalten wird. Spieler, die Atmosphäre und Thema des Spiels ansprechend finden, können mit Manairons nichtsdestotrotz durchaus ihren Spaß haben. Wer hingegen vor allem an dem Gameplay interessiert ist, findet zahlreiche rundum bessere Alternativen.

Manairons è una di quelle produzioni videoludiche che merita il nostro plauso in quanto ispirazione e originalità. Da un lato troviamo un comparto artistico e sonoro stimolante, dalle tinte cupe ma che trasmette speranza verso il domani. Dall\'altro un impianto ludico abbastanza riuscito per quel che concerne le fasi a piattaforme e a enigmi, ma carente per quel che concerne il combat system generale.

Manairons has a slight throwback feel, which I don’t think was intentional, recalling Pac-Man World in particular due to its side-scrolling nature. Aesthetically, it’s closer to a contemporary release, resembling last year’s Once Upon A Puppet due to featuring similar rickety wooden locales, loose screws and all. Games with quaint old-fashioned environments and themes of folklore tend to have a magical and whimsical vibe, but try as it might, Manairons falls a little short in that area. Basic character animation, combat that lacks flourish, and more than a few unfair deaths take away the sheen in something that has clearly been made with the best intentions, while under a tight budget. It’s all a bit workmanlike; competently put together, but you may wish someone had taken the time to sand the rougher edges.

Manairons é um jogo que sabe exatamente o que quer ser: uma homenagem aos clássicos de plataforma 3D. Ele entrega nostalgia, simplicidade e uma mecânica musical que realmente se destaca. Apesar de problemas técnicos e limitações claras, é uma experiência simpática para quem aprecia esse estilo.

Manairons is visually charming with a fairy-tale atmosphere, but in terms of gameplay it fails to engage due to repetitive levels, simple bosses, and elements that we have already seen in the past.

Manairons is a game suited only really for the most hardcore and nostalgic of retro 3D platform gamers. To a modern audience, the experience will undoubtedly feel a bit too rushed and visually lacklustre to recommend. The combat is very basic in design, lacking style and weight, whereas puzzle solving can be rewarding when we piece together the solution and activate some helpful contraption. It\'s the moments in-between where things start becoming increasingly boring. As it stands, Manairons could benefit from a bit more time to cook in the oven.

Manairons laisse un goût amer en bouche. Même si le tout semble assez convenu et classique, il n’y a rien de mal à un jeu dont l’ambition est d’offrir une expérience agréable au détriment de l’originalité. À plus forte raison pour un jeu indépendant qui propose un monde aussi visuellement riche et coloré que Manairons. Malheureusement, le jeu est techniquement très rigide et rempli de bugs qui viennent vraiment pourrir l’expérience. Si JanduSoft peut corriger le tire et offrir une expérience techniquement plus réussie, le jeu vaudra assurément le détour. D’ici là, je ne peux recommander Manairons.

Une expérience qui divise. Au final, Manairons est un jeu attachant. Il propose une expérience poétique, musicale et culturellement marquée. Son univers a du charme, son ambiance fonctionne, et l’effort de mettre en avant un folklore régional peu exploité mérite vraiment d’être salué. Mais le gameplay manque de profondeur, les combats sont répétitifs et les problèmes techniques risquent de rebuter bon nombre de joueurs. C’est le genre de jeu qu’on apprécie pour son atmosphère, mais qui peine à convaincre sur la durée. Et on le sait, une fois la manette posée à cause de la frustration, il est rare qu’on y revienne. Dommage, car avec un peu plus de finition, Manairons aurait pu être une très belle surprise.
