Ghosts’n DJs doesn’t feature good controls, and its message against plastic DJs can be infantile at times, but it can be very entertaining in short bursts, especially since it’s nowhere near as broken or infuriating as Ghosts ‘n Goblins, its main source of inspiration. It would have been a perfect fit for the Switch, but it’s still an easy recommendation if you’re into electronic music. And if you haven’t played AVICII Invector yet, of course.

Ghosts N DJs is competently made and challenging to boot. If you are looking for a free simple time waster to enjoy between other games that is not another clicker – give this a try. It’s for a good cause.

Ghosts’n DJs porta un divertente platform che mira al pubblico di giocatori hardcore in salsa retrò, ma che non riesce a decollare per via dell’evidente gameplay copiato spudoratamente da Ghost’n Goblins, portandosi appresso tutte quelle meccaniche pesanti che potevano tranquillamente essere tralasciate.

I am a fan of Ghosts N Goblins and part of it was the music and the overall atmosphere. It was Dark Souls before Dark Souls was Dark Souls. The guys here knew what made the game what it is and managed to translate it into a different setting. The music is has Deadmau5 in it so you know what to expect, the gameplay is the same but the flying enemies are way too frequent and difficult to hit, at times it felt like someone hit the random Ai spawn button and left it on, it goes from empty to full in seconds. The music is good but doesn’t really connect with the gameplay, it felt more like I was playing an album over the top of it all. For a ghost n goblin-like, it’s faithful and does the job but it is more difficult and not as engaging and memorable as the classic.

Los fanáticos de los juegos clásicos de SNES de los 80 y especialmente de Ghosts’n Goblins deberían tener mucho para disfrutar en Ghosts’n DJ’s. El juego es divertido, bien hecho, se ve muy bien, suena muy bien y tiene ese juego de castigo de la vieja escuela en espadas. ¡Es obvio por el tiempo que pasé con el juego que el Dr. Kucho! Le encantan los fantasmas y la música. Si compartes sus gustos, seguro que te encantará este juego. Pero si le gusta tomarse su tiempo con un juego, limpiar áreas y explorar, es posible que desee mantenerse alejado. No creo que vuelva a hacerlo, pero el juego es gratuito en Steam, por lo que sería mejor probarlo por ti mismo.
