Impactful is how I’d describe Many Nights A Whisper. I had many thoughts about its themes and topics, and those were supported with simple controls and some great gameplay design. At the cost of less than £2.50, this is a budget experience that indie and story rich gamers shouldn’t miss.

Freddy Farmer brings all the greatness of an 80s arcade action classic to a modern audience. It also bought one of the annoyances too, preventing it from reaching greatness (for now).

Unsatisfying, frustrating and unintuitive to wrestle with, even the hardcore retro racers will struggle to find much love for this.

Idea's brevity and style captivate me every time I send a new thought bubble tumbling around the beautiful drone footage. This abstract game highlights the reasons why I continue to create content about games today. Delightful.

Whilst its RNG feels needlessly harsh, the dopamine hit of each run still keeps you coming back for more. Deceptively simple with lots of decision making to be made.

Everything in Cube Raiders feels less than Devil Dice and Bombastic – two games that were made 20 years ago. That is my residing thought. It is less fluid and speedy than those and less engaging too. The puzzle mode is a nice addition but I didn’t want it to be the main event and so my hopes and expectations were not really met with this release. Add to it the bugs and glitches and you have a very mediocre experience dragging down a fine concept.

Ghosts N DJs is competently made and challenging to boot. If you are looking for a free simple time waster to enjoy between other games that is not another clicker – give this a try. It’s for a good cause.
