A great survival horror game with a lot of personality and big ideas. Some of those ideas may not quite come together, but its fantastic religious aesthetic, ingenious world, and settings full of secrets made me fall in love with Tormentosa.

The Game Kitchen delights us once again with an excellent 2D action title featuring stunning pixel graphics and great music. Although it's short, it offers a great level of challenge and even more difficult activities for those who want to demonstrate their mastery of the ninja arts. Its story leaves much to be desired, but that doesn't stop it from being one of the best games of 2025.

The Stone of Madness captivated me from the first few minutes with its wide variety of stealth options, mysterious plot, and excellent setting. Not even the annoying bugs I encountered and a few frustrating points I had to redo countless times made me hesitate to keep playing, but less patient gamers might be less tolerant of its difficulty.

The hours I spent with Mika and the Witch's Mountain weren't many, but they were very enjoyable. What it lacks in mechanical depth, it makes up for with calming gameplay systems, a very relaxing setting, and a heartwarming anti-capitalist plot about community life. It's not a huge challenge or an epic adventure, but it's the comforting experience many of us need right now.

Blasphemous 2 es uno de los mejores juegos de 2023 y, junto a Hollow Knight, uno de los mejores 'metroidvania' de todos los tiempos. Sigo fascinado por su impactante y controversial visión de la iconografía católica, pero es el excelente diseño de niveles el que mantiene pegado al control. La jugabilidad mejoró mucho respecto a su antecesor y los combates son aún más interesantes gracias a la adición del retablo de favores y efectos elementales. Los defectos que tiene, sobre todo los enemigos repetitivos y la falta de ejecuciones vistosas, no afectan realmente la excelente impresión que me dejó este título.
