Gosta de jogos de plataforma e ama encarar um desafio? Super Magbot é o seu jogo, definitivamente! Não se engane pelo visual fofinho em pixel art, já que ele vai fazer veteranos de metroidvanias e sous-like (como eu) chorar.

Super Magbot es el mejor plataformas 2D, el más original y el que mejor diseño de niveles tiene que he jugado desde Celeste. Así de claro. Los chicos de Astral Pixel han aprovechado una obvia limitación como es no saltar en un plataformas, para darle un giro de tuerca brillante a las mecánicas que se ve acompañado de un diseño de niveles que las explica al máximo.

Super Magbot is a good platformer with some new movements to set it apart from existing gems like Super Meat Boy. Diehard platform gamers will enjoy the challenges and differences that Super Magbot brings. While more casual gamers may want to give it a shot to see if it's in their wheelhouse. It may not be for everyone, but it's a fun journey.

Super Magbot, te cautivará desde el inicio con sus pequeñas animaciones, bien realizadas. Su gameplay único y adictivo que , en ciertas partes, podrá llegar a ser frustrante pero nada para perder la cabeza. El pixel art es un deleite visual que hace al juego una compra obligada para cualquier jugador en busca de un juego fresco e innovador. Sin duda alguna, uno de mis juegos de plataforma favoritos de este año.

There is a lot of game here and not a whole lot to be disappointed in. If you are looking for something fresh to play over a week or two, Super Magbot is perfectly priced, offers a ton, and it looks and sounds good in the process. It may be a bit difficult, but this magnet is Neodymium and it really sticks.

Overall, I really have enjoyed my time with Super Magbot so far. The game is challenging but the levels are short enough so that you don’t feel like you’re wasting your time if you make a silly mistake later into a level. Collecting the fragments while using the game’s magnetic mechanics are very satisfying, especially when speed running. At first you may feel like you need to say out loud your actions as I did but as you progress, you move past that and begin to get into a fun flow where difficulty ramps and climaxes with a satisfying boss fight. 

Super Magbot is a super fun. It offers some unique gameplay, cute graphics, and an exciting soundtrack. However, I cannot stress this enough: it’s super challenging, and if you don’t have a lot of patience, this is not the game for you. If you do like a (big ass) challenge: go for it!

Super Magbot is a highlight in the puzzle platformer genre. It sports unique gameplay that I haven't seen anywhere else, and it's definitely the most fun I've had with magnets in years. The rest of the package isn't as groundbreaking as the gameplay, but it's still totally solid. Some bland writing and so-so music aside, this is a killer addition to any sidescrolling platforming fans collection.

In an age where platformers are commonplace, and indie games with pixel graphics desperately oversaturate the market, you might overlook this unique and challenging title from Astral Pixel. But, if you are a fan of games that push you and aren't afraid of racking up a few deaths (well... a lot) then Super Magbot is a game you should absolutely be keeping an eye on, as the simplicity of its controls, the unique game mechanics, and the fast pace will assuredly keep you entertained and craving for more.

A precision platformer with a novel, magnetically charged traversal method, Super Magbot is a quality game. The storyline is a little lackluster but challenging yet satisfying game design makes for a very morish experience.

Super Magbot is a fiendishly difficult game that builds upon its simple premise with layers upon layers of new variables to manage and timings to master. It relies on your becoming flustered and messing up, rather than making the levels all that difficult. It never asks you to do anything more than time your button presses and use the correct magnet, but that never stops it from breaking you. It's a delight, but it's also not going to be for anyone who's not interested in taking a break every ten minutes to scream at the sun.

My recommendation for Super Magbot comes down to your thoughts on the premise and more difficult platformers in general. If the idea of using magnets to platform or games where you will die over and over again doesn’t sound all that interesting to you, the game will likely not be for you. If the premise interests you at all though and you are intrigued by the premise, you should really enjoy Super Magbot and should seriously consider picking it up.

En conclusión, deciros que Super Magbot es una experiencia realmente divertida, apasionante, y llena de buenos detalles que lo hace sin lugar a duda uno, de los mejores juegos de ese género donde las plataformas, los niveles cortos, y la dificultad extrema que nos lleva a aparecer y reaparecer tras cantidad de muerte. Pero que más allá de jugar con nuestra paciencia, lo que consigue es meternos en vena esa sensación de querer intentarlo una vez más, hasta que consigues superarlo en una de esas que lo haces todo perfecto.

Com uma alta exigência técnica, é bom ver que as ferramentas auxiliares não tornam a experiência necessariamente mais fácil. Pelo contrário, ampliam as possibilidades de como abordar os desafios e exigem sempre uma atenção constante (e um risco de erro) em cada movimento. Ao jogador, cabe escolher e adaptar o nível de frustração com o qual quer lidar.

I’ve been playing a lot of precision platformers on Switch lately, but none of them use magnets as a mechanic, so this pulls me in and makes Super Magbot stand out.

Super Magbot is a fun game that uses the mechanics of magnetism and also combines both platforming and puzzle elements in a game with over 100 levels. If the base game proves to be too hard, you can always use assists to make things a bit easier. The story is nice and gives the player a proper backstory of what was going on in the world of Super Magbot. With the amazing 16-bit graphics and Midi music you get teleported back thirty years, but with modern-day standards clearly kept in mind. The only downside is that the game can be pretty hard without the assists, which could lead to frustration if you are a completionist.

Ultimately, my only hangup with Super Magbot is that its new-to-me mechanic never ended up feeling natural in the time I spent with it. I’m really glad it had those accessibility options because I think I would have bounced off of it really early without them.

Overall, a really fun experience and addition to the platforming genre. 

I enjoyed Super Magbot. It offered challenges without being overwhelming. The gameplay was fast, and I was immersed the whole way through. However, the crashing at the conclusion of the game severely hindered my experience. It diminished the satisfaction I should have earned for defeating such a prominent threat. Still, I am very glad I gave Super Magbot a chance. This innovative experience is not one to be missed.

There is a lot to love about Super Magbot, from its unique magnet-based platforming mechanic to its colourful worlds and aesthetics. While the attract-repel mechanic may be tricky to wrap your head around at first, the game takes the concept and runs with it in fantastic ways that may well surprise you. Team17 publish some fantastic indie gems and once again, they've knocked it out the park with Astral Pixel's Super Magbot.

Start to finish, Super Magbot is a ton of fun, and for anyone who didn’t quite like the disappointing gameplay proposal of Super Meat Boy Forever, this is much closer to the style you may be looking for. Filled with a ton of levels and a pretty fair learning curve, Super Magbot is a perfect pick-up-and-play experience. Hopefully this is a game that sees success and can be brought to other consoles as well, as I’m sure a ton of Meat Boy fans out there who would kill for an interesting clone like this one.

In conclusione, Super Magbot è un’avventura platform in 2D davvero particolare ed inaspettata, per via della sua componente ludica assolutamente atipica e quasi rivoluzionaria. L’opera concepita da Astral Pixel propone una buona varietà, degli scenari graficamente irresistibili ed altri invece davvero poco riusciti per level design. L’introduzione di un sistema di salto legato alla polarità magnetica è strabiliante, ma poco raffinata a causa dei comandi non del tutto intuibili e facili da utilizzare; lo scorrimento del personaggio è pesante, condizionato da una mappatura dei controlli non del tutto efficace. L’idea di utilizzare un raggio dedicato al secondo analogico funziona esattamente a metà: interessante per via della sua vicinanza ad un roguelike, complessa per la frenesia e velocità del gameplay. Il titolo pubblicato da Team17 è disponibile su Nintendo Switch dal 22 giugno 2021 al prezzo di 17,99 euro. Un rapporto qualità/prezzo alquanto buono, se consideriamo l’alta rigiocabilità di ogni singolo stage e la varietà di elementi messi a disposizione. Magbot è stato spedito in soccorso al Sistema di Magnetia in grave pericolo, per via di un asteroide minaccioso che vuole impadronirsi di tutti i frammenti stellari e così governare l’universo in qualità di padrone indiscusso. Riuscirà il nostro eroe in questa bizzarra avventura a salvare la galassia?

Super Magbot is a game that is hard to recommend, for those that like a good challenge or games that break tradition, then this is perfect, but if you are someone who likes to be able to jump in your platformer, then look elsewhere. Due to the often-rigid nature of the levels, mistiming a jump or aiming poorly, will result in death and while it is but a blip in the runtime, dying multiple times in a row does get frustrating. Just don’t let the wonderful pixel art fool you, Super Magbot is a hard game, it will test your skill and patience, you just have to as yourself if it is worth it, for me, it isn’t.

Sin duda lo recomiendo a todos los fans de los juegos retro, y de las plataformas. Además, te asegurarás de que todos los que te vean jugar alucinen al verte usar los imanes con estilo retro.

Em suma, Super Magbot é uma experiência simples, que sabe das suas limitações, e com isso, não tenta reinventar a roda, ou nesse caso, revolucionar a indústria indie. Suas mecânicas de magnetismo são supreedentemente divertidas e bem polidas, assim como seu level design, que poderia aderir um pouco mais das ideias presentes nas boss-fights do jogo.

Tal vez para darle más valor competitivo hubiera sido interesante tener una tabla de liderato a nivel mundial, sin embargo no es algo tan necesario ya que aquí lo que importa es pelear contra tu peor enemigo: tú mismo.

Mettere a punto il tuo cervello per pensare in modo diverso è difficile e anche fino al boss finale, la meccanica di base non è mai stata naturale. Tuttavia, il senso di soddisfazione quando si completa una tappa difficile non ha prezzo. Per i giocatori che cercano una versione avvincente e unica del genere platform, vale sicuramente la pena dare un'occhiata a Super Magbot.

We recommend Super Magbot but only if you’re a fan of platformers and challenging games. If you’re playing this title on Nintendo Switch, you’ll be able to enjoy it in short bursts on the go, which would mitigate much of the frustration caused by the harder levels.

Overall, Super Magbot has fantastic game design, controls, and gameplay, but a bland presentation. Nothing about it is outright bad, the art style just isn’t unique, the world themes are as generic as can be and the execution of these themes does nothing to distinguish itself

Si lo tuyo son títulos al más puro estilo vintage, con un toque indie, Super MagBot te dará más de una alegría. Además, en el apartado gráfico y sonoro, luce y se escucha de cine. Así que, prepárate para volver a la época dorada de los videojuegos con Super MagBot. Si te han gustado títulos como Celeste o Super Meat Boy, no dudes en aventurarte a disfrutar de Super MagBot, no te defraudará.

En resumen, para todos aquellos fans de los ya comentados Celeste y Super MeatBoy, Super Magbot es una compra obligada en caso de querer seguir disfrutando de esos retantes niveles de ensayo y error continuos. Para todos aquellos que busquen un juego de plataformas deben saber a lo que se enfrentan y al nivel de reto al que pueden llegar a exponerse, pero si sois de aquellos que disfrutan con una experiencia divertida, sin compromisos y con un peldaño de dificultad por encima de la media, podréis disfrutar de uno de los indies que desde Vidaopantalla deseamos que no pase desapercibido.

Super Magbot es sencillamente divertido. Si hay algo que podemos decir es que, por mucho que te desesperes con sus niveles, no te vas a aburrir jugándolo en ningún momento y, a sus creadores claramente les ha dado igual crear un juego con una historia casi nula con tal de hacer un producto disfrutable y divertido. Algo que comparte con los videojuegos clásicos y que, en este largo camino, otros muchos han olvidado.
