What a fantastic game! Super Woden GP is the best Gran Turismo that isn’t Gran Turismo. Using many of the menus and progression elements from the series, Super Woden GP is an absolute blast and with a handful of graphic styles it makes the game pop. The controls are fine but they do take a lot of practice, being a top down racer there’s always an element of adapting but the grass and snow is rough so you have to be careful and accurate on corners. I love how the game doesn’t have licenses but they do a really good job of making miniature bootleg versions. The initial hour is a slog as you play the same event over and over so you can buy better cars. I got a vibe from it that I haven’t had since my yearly trip to playing the ever awesome RC De GO as its a mix of that and Gran Turismo. This is an excellent game and well worth your time with tight controls and a banging soundtrack.
