Scrap Riders is a fun beat 'em up that is made with a lot of love and nostalgia for game of the past. While it doesn't do anything revolutionary, its gameplay is incredibly fun and solid and with its self-aware humor, you will definitely have a great time playing it.

Scrap Riders è stato davvero un'ottima sorpresa. Nelle oltre cinque ore necessarie ad arrivare ai titoli di coda non sarà difficile affezionarsi a Rust e alla sua avventura. Il titolo riesce sempre a tenere viva l'attenzione del giocatore grazie ad un gameplay vario che mixa perfettamente momenti di calma e ragionamento (nelle parti da avventura grafica) ad altri più action quando Scrap Riders si trasforma in un beat 'em up vecchia scuola. Consigliatissimo sia agli amanti delle avventure grafiche che dei picchiaduro a scorrimento!

Scrap Riders is a fantastic addition to 2023’s indie games scene. It has many great things to offer, including exploration and combat, and what it lacks in story, it makes up for with fun combat.

Scrap Riders nos propone una curiosa fusión entre aventura gráfica tradicional y el género del beat 'em up que además cuenta con unos toques de humor bastante interesantes. A pesar de que cuenta con algunos problemas como la repetitividad de enemigos, una jugabilidad que no termina de estar del todo pulida y una dificultad elevada en ciertos tramos, no deja de ser un juego muy recomendable que se sale de la norma.

Me encantan las uniones de géneros inesperadas, y Scrap Riders logra combinar la aventura gráfica con el beat’em up con éxito. Es cierto que no logra destacar demasiado en ninguna de las dos propuestas. Los puzzles son por lo general muy sencillos y básicos, mientras que la sección de beat’em up es más que entretenida, pero sin alardes. Es la fusión lo que hace que Scrap Riders logre enganchar. Su gran sentido del humor ayuda, pese a no terminar de forjar una gran identidad propia.

Scrap Riders en una propuesta con identidad propia que se aleja de lo main stream pero que al mismo tiempo, una vez has entrado dentro, abraza constantemente al gran público con referencias constantes a clásicos de la industria cultural. Es una obra que tiene muy buenas ideas, y algunas de ellas las desarrolla coherentemente. La mezcla de géneros, junto al tono y un pixel art muy cuidado, hacen del título algo llamativo

Scrap Riders es una aventura beat 'em up completamente alocada, la cual nos pondrá en los zapatos de un grupo de moteros enfrentándose a distintas bandas enemigas por el control de los páramos y las grandes metrópolis.

Scrap Riders tente de mêler les deux genres bien différents que sont le Point’n Click et le Beat’em All. Si l’équilibre entre chacune de ces phases est bien présent, nous amenant à vivre une histoire intéressante dans un monde déjanté au fort accent de Futurama, force est de constater toutefois que chacune des phases de gameplay est en deçà de ce que proposent les ténors du genre. Le Point’n Click se limite trop souvent à des allers-retours pénibles tandis que le Beat’em All ne propose rien de neuf et ne se renouvelle jamais. Ses graphismes sont eux aussi bien trop inégaux suivant les lieux et les personnages. C’est dommage, car après avoir joué au titre de Games For Tutti, le potentiel de ce mélange semble maintenant évident, et il ne manque pas grand-chose pour faire de ce Scrap Riders un incontournable.

Scrap Riders es un juego que justamente mezcla dos generos que amo desde que soy chico. Ambos funcionan de manera paralela y es como si estuvieras jugando dos títulos diferentes con los mismos personajes y apartado gráfico. Y todo lo que hace no esta mal y cumple su función,

Scrap Riders is an interesting game, with fantastic visuals and sound design and a unique take on the beat-em-up genre. However it isn’t without its flaws, and the lack of confidence in its own identity really weighs down the experience. Hopefully Games For Tutti learns from the experience, because I would definitely like to see an improved sequel.

“Scrap Riders” is far from perfect, there are a lot of glaring omissions, such as a lack of any sort of multiplayer, which for a game like this should be obvious to do. It’s a very unfortunate and huge missed opportunity that hopefully the developers will learn from in their future games (assuming they’re doing another game similar to this). I also wish there was some voice acting in here instead of just word boxes. Aside from the issues I mentioned, “Scrap Riders” is a tight little package that is certainly worth checking out.

Avec ses graphismes en pixel art, sa bande-son 16 bits et une durée de vie de 4/5h environ, c’est la récréation parfaite entre deux gros hits.

If we’re being generous, we’d say that Scrap Riders is a mixed bag but in all honesty, the game is a showcase of wasted potential. We were ready to fall in love with the world and the characters, as the premise is decent enough and the idea of mixing a point-and-click adventure with beat ‘em up arcade gameplay is interesting, to say the least. Unfortunately, the excellent art direction and fun combat sections aren’t enough to salvage the lackluster adventure portion, which is dragged down by uninspired point-and-click sections and poor writing. There isn’t anything inherently bad or wrong about Scrap Riders, but there aren’t any real reasons to recommend it either.

Scrap Riders n’est pas mauvais. Il est juste un peu maladroit dans son exécution. Ce qui suffit à rendre l’expérience quelque peu pénible. Et donc, malgré un univers assez sympathique, on éprouve du mal à prendre totalement plaisir. Le jeu dégage plutôt un sentiment de lenteur et de lourdeur non négligeable. Résultat:  on se retrouve bien souvent avec la sensation d'effectuer des choses inutiles et à lutter comme des diables lors des phases de combat, à cause notamment d’une maniabilité qui laisse à désirer.

Scrap Riders es un muy buen juego para pasar el rato, con una estética muy bien lograda y una historia sencilla y divertida. Definitivamente lo recomiendo para aquellos nostálgicos amantes de los Beat 'Em Up que quieran romper un poco con los juegos online, o para aquellos que busquen un juego que no sea muy demandante de tiempo y que simplemente quieran pasar un buen rato.

Scrap Riders tente un mélange surprenant de de point & click et beat’em all et ça marche. Les puzzles sont plutôt agréables et les phases d’action sont maîtrisées et très dynamiques. Le souci, c’est que le jeu est aussi extrêmement bavard, ne raconte pas grand chose et enchaîne les vannes lourdingues et/ou gênantes (on aime ou on n'aime pas), quand il ne nous colle pas des références sous le nez comme si on n’était pas capable de les remarquer. En prime, le pixel art nuit bien souvent à la lisibilité en exploration et en combat. Résultat, l’expérience n’est clairement pas aussi excitante qu’espérée et les bonnes idées sont étouffées par un manque de finesse générale .

As the game stands, though, Scrap Riders is still a great time. It looks fantastic, it’s funny, there’s a lot of fun to be had here, it’s enough of a good overall package that I think it’s worth overlooking any weak areas the game may have. You won’t regret going for a ride!

En conclusión, Scrap Riders es un juego realmente original y muy divertido que mezcla una aventura point and click con un beat’em up. Sin ser sobresaliente en ninguno de los dos géneros que combina, la fusión le sienta muy bien. La arriesgada apuesta de Games For Tutti es un acierto y funciona de maravilla. 

Scrap Riders is a compelling little title that’s a little rough around the edges, and I had a blast playing it. You should definitely check it out if you’re interested in beat ‘em ups, point ‘n clicks, or both.
