Delete After Reading: Want to read a book and also solve clues at the same time? Delete After Reading is a cozy little interactive adventure, perfect for mobile devices and children and adults of all ages.

Por lo tanto, con “un juego que puedes leer, un libro que puedes jugar” no estaban mintiendo. Literalmente, todo el videojuego sucede a través de este librillo. Sin embargo, mi expectativa con esta premisa era diferente. Creí que la historia iba a ser más compleja, habría más información y desarrollo de los personajes, especialmente de Destino. En general, que habría un gran enfoque narrativo, el cual finalmente no hubo: la historia es clara y lineal, te encuentras con el grupo, resuelves los acertijos, cumples tu misión. 

La interacción táctil en la versión de Android es bastante simple y fluida. Quizá los únicos puntos flojos sean que resulta difícil scrollear el texto de forma lenta y precisa. Así como volver atrás cuando tenemos habilitada la navegación por gestos en el sistema operativo. Por otro lado, no se puede guardar el progreso en medio de los niveles —tampoco es que sean muy largos—, por lo que debemos asegurarnos de terminarlos para retomar el fichín desde el siguiente. Por último, y no menor, la versión de Android no se puede agregar a la Biblioteca familiar de Google Play, ya que el Capítulo 1 está disponible de forma gratuita en la tienda y requiere de una compra interna para habilitar los restantes. Delete After Reading is a return to the simpler style of game. The story is compelling enough to keep you playing, and the game doesn't outstay its welcome. The puzzles were challenging enough that I had to take my time while playing, and even if I couldn't solve all of them correctly, I still found it enjoyable. The game is linear and targeted at a younger audience, so this is fun to play with the family. 

Delete After Reading é uma aventura textual que não consegue aproveitar tão bem sua proposta. Embora o último capítulo seja um bom exemplo do que poderia ter sido alcançado, os desafios são muito básicos e limitados e a interação com os textos carece de ousadia e inovação. Fãs de histórias infantis que gostam de brincar com o texto talvez ainda apreciem o jogo, mas provavelmente notarão que ele poderia ter ido muito além.

Delete After Reading is short but sweet and plays around with some interesting ideas in terms of how interactive an interactive fiction experience can be. While the puzzles aren’t anything groundbreaking, the way they’re presented keeps things feeling very fresh. Overall, the game is a fun time, the perfect way to introduce a kiddo to adventure games or waste away an afternoon trying something new.

Delete After Reading is a quirky narrative puzzle that's uniquely presented via text and lovely artwork. The puzzle-solving itself and a few minor inconveniences can be a bit of a turn-off, but the visuals, music, voice acting, art style, and writing are absolutely fantastic - so if you're looking for a fresh brainteaser (or a way to get back at Destiny), it's worth giving the game a go.

A novel take on interactive fiction, Delete After Reading can’t quite capitalise on its uniqueness. Tonally conflicted, lacking puzzle consistency and missing some technical aspects that are expected in 2023 (like an auto-save function), this is a missed opportunity to truly evolve the genre.

DELETE AFTER READING presents an interesting concept for a game. A modern day text-based game is something rarely seen and certainly has its place in the gaming landscape. By adding aspects to the games design that would have never been possible in the genre’s height, the game defines itself; however issues found within its puzzles and narrative prevent the game from reaching its fullest potential.

Delete After Reading, es un juego muy corto, de apenas 3h de duración. De lectura sencilla y divertida enfocada a un público juvenil. Posee unas ideas muy buenas, pero, tiene pequeños “peros” que no le hacen sobresalir.
