La campaña es absorbente y muy compleja, pero la recompensa merece la pena, sin duda. Las batallas entre dos grandes ejércitos decimonónicos son un prodigio de estrategia, emocion y espectáculo.

Un juego muy bueno y muy completo. Quizá lo primero que entre por el ojo sean los gráficos de las batallas en tiempo real, magníficos sin ninguna duda. Pero no se han quedado ahí. Imperial Glory permite sentirse como un Napoleón en el campo de batalla ordenado la disposición de tus tropas, vigilando que la caballería enemiga no llegue a tus cañones mientras la infantería avanza por el campo de batalla o tu caballería rodea el ejército enemigo para atrapar a esos cañones que te impiden avanzar con comodidad.

Truly epic historical strategy. It's a good pick for RTS fans. 

La calidad gráfica y musical del título, será un referente en el género.Lo fácil que es manejar todo, la curva de dificultad no es muy pronunciada.La mezcla de gestión y estrategia está muy bien equilibrada.No tener que luchar si sólo te gusta la gestión.El vicio potencial es realmente alto, avisa en casa para que no piensen que te has muerto.

Imperial Glory es un juego ameno y divertido en el cual la apabullante representación audiovisual no va acompañada de un componente estratégico especialmente profundo. Cuando el jugador está enfrascado en batallas de miles de hombres, le resulta inexplicable la ausencia de algunos elementos o posibilidades. Esto hace al título un tanto limitado, y decepcionará a todos aquellos fanáticos de la estrategia más profunda. Pero no por ello es otra versión de Dune II, y lo poco que tiene de estratégico tanto en el modo batalla como en el modo mapa, es toda una revolución respecto al fallido Praetorians, primer experimento en las 3D de Pyro Studios. Aunque anticipamos algunas críticas demoledoras a este competente juego, no podemos dejar de obviar sus enormes méritos tanto en el apartado audiovisual como en el pulcro desarrollo. Quizás con una futura secuela, o la incorporación de ciertas funciones con una expansión puedan solucionar estos problemas.

It's hard not to compare this game to those in the Total War series. Fortunately, the comparison is pretty favorable. Though the battles themselves aren't quite as easy to manage, the added strategic elements and highly detailed environments should definitely have Creative Assembly sitting up and taking notice. As I said before, though the game offers up many pleasures, it's not for the faint of heart. The campaign's tedious start is a significant obstacle to gamers who want to "get to the good stuff" without going through the motions of developing a massive resource base and drafting an army from scratch.

Pyro Studios ha intentado realizar un tipo de juego con muchos de los componentes que describen al género de estrategia y entre los cuales se encuentran muchos superventas. Estrategia táctica, batallas en tiempo real, un fuerte componente histórico, control de recursos, gestión económica y una representación audiovisual de lo más llamativa. Además con varios modos de juego aptos para estrategas avezados y jugadores ocasionales, las posibilidades de venta se multiplican. Sin lugar a dudas es un juego excelente, pero quizá ese público objetivo tan dispar le impida orientarse realmente hacia uno u otro bando y se haya quedado a las puertas en algunos puntos.

f anything, Imperial Glory does look exciting and does permit a good degree of strategizing. Seasoned tacticians might be disappointed, but if there is someone out there looking for a good look at the Napoleonic Era of warfare, then Imperial Glory can provide a fun and easy window to look through. I hope that Pyro considers updating this game with an expansion pack or even a sequel. The issues I've taken with the game are certainly not deal breakers and can be easily fixed or massaged with some more refinement and design.

Un bon soft à essayer par tous, au moins pour finir la campagne une fois. A approfondir pour ceux qui n'auraient pas trop touchés à la série des Total War et à garder dans un coin pour ceux pour lesquels ce serait le cas. Imperial Glory se fait ainsi une bonne place dans le monde du RTS, mais ses quelques défauts l'empêche de devenir le vrai hit que l'on aurait pu attendre de lui.

Imperial Glory feels very much like Shogun: Total War did when it came out. In other words, it shows a lot of untapped promise and potential, but it also possesses raw edges and missed opportunities. This is still an enjoyable game, though, so long as you're willing to overlook the flaws.

Imperial Glory ofrece muy buenos gráficos con una larga duración. Pero se queda en eso y sin destacar demasiado. No ofrece nada especial en comparación con otros juegos del mismo tipo. 

There's really something fundamentally wrong in a game where I start keeping a book beside the table to read while my armies trudge into battle. That said, it's a good book and I recommend it.

Imperial Glory is one frustrating game. It gets so many things right and it certainly looks the part, but fans of the genre -- especially those interested in Napoleon-era fighting -- will have a tough time getting around the game's lighthearted attempt at modeling combat. Hopefully Eidos will allow Pyro to fix what's broken, because the game is a handful of critical tweaks away from being something special. As it stands, it's tough to fully recommend Imperial Glory unless realism and unit management are low on your list of priorities.
