La jugabilidad y la adicción son realmente increíbles. La pixelación cuando se utiliza el zoom al máximo es excesiva. Cada misión es toda una película, parece interminable por su extensión y la profundidad del desarrollo, tanto en el rigor histórico como en las incalculables posibilidades que tiene el jugador a cada segundo.

En cierto modo es como una gran partida de ajedrez en la que cambian constantemente las piezas y el tablero. La acción es el último paso tras muchos cálculos. En ese sentido y en otros muchos aspectos, Commandos 2 es una obra maestra.

Finalmente, tras horas de juego y meses de espera, ha llegado la hora del veredicto sobre este segundo juego de Pyro Studios. Commandos 2 resulta ser un más que digno sucesor del original. No es exactamente una revolución, pero sí una notable evolución respecto a la primera entrega, que ya es un clásico en el mundo de los videojuegos, y no necesitaría el nombre que tiene para decir lo mucho que tiene que decir en las listas de ventas. Commandos 2 es un muy buen juego de estrategia, una muy buena secuela y sin duda alguna el juego español del año. Obligatorio para los amantes de la estrategia, pero mucho cuidado con su dificultad.

Para la gran mayoría de los aficionados a los juegos de estrategia, este título es una auténtica obra maestra. Con diferencia, es el mejor de su género en esta consola. Felicidades a Pyro.

It's refreshing to see a development team add so much to a sequel while maintaining the spirit of the original.

Commandos 2 se ha hecho de rogar, pero ha compensado de sobra la espera. Este juego marca un antes y un después en el género de la estrategia para consolas, pues es capaz de enganchar incluso a los que no comulgan con este tipo de juegos. Realista, intenso, y sobre todo, original, el único "pero" posible es que se podía haber mejorado más su nivel técnico (en la resolución y los tiempos de carga), pero es o no impide que sea uno de los mejores juegos del momento. ¡Y encimam español!

Truly one of the most beautiful games I have seen this year.

Although it’s shot through with bugs and screw-ups that would remand a lesser title to the bargain bin, the game itself is so damn good you’ll forgive almost anything to keep playing. 

The pre-rendered backgrounds...are rich in detail and create a perfect setting for the game. I don't think the entire game contains a pixel in a wrong place.

It was a long wait for the sequel, but Pyro spent the time innovating a game that was already innovative to begin with. You're gonna love this one.

Más y mejor. Animaciones, diseño en 3D, estilo de juego, audio, interfaz, realismo, acciones a realizar... A pesar de perder la originalidad que otorgaba la primera parte tiene aspectos suficientemente novedosos para seguir diciendo que Commandos 2 es diferente.

Si te gusto Commandos, esta segunda parte te encantará. En caso contrario, incluso puede que esta nueva entrega te enganche.

A fantastically challenging and fun ride...[but] if you have high blood pressure and don't react well to stress and frustration, don't buy this game. You'll go crazy and your heart will explode.

Yes some gamers will find this annoying. I say get over it. By the third mission, you will be familiar with the keyboard anyway. The learning curve is very high, but well worth it. Trust me. For those of you who need it. The quicksave, and quickload hotkeys are control s, and control l. You will need them, because this game is frickin’ hard. It’s not impossible just hard. Now don’t panic. All this means is that it’s that much more rewarding when you beat a level without using a cheat code. So plan your strategy, and go get it done.  

I loved it! It made the hours fly by like minutes...Once you get used to the interface and become more efficient at positioning the camera just right, you'll soon become totally addicted to this title.

Feed the dog, kiss the wife goodbye, and tell work that you’re very ,very sick then start playing Commandos 2, and don’t blame me when you’re staring at the ceiling in the middle of the night thinking about how you could have completed the mission a better way.

Commandos 2 no está exento de fallos; los gráficos no son perfectos, y se echa en falta más definición en las texturas, si bien esto es más por vicio que por necesidad, puesto que no ofuscan para nada el apartado jugable. El control, pese a ser muy completo, llega a ser confuso, ya que aúna demasiados elementos a la vez, y como no, el principal responsable de la fama de Commandos, su dificultad, lo cual no es del todo un fallo. Ya para terminar, decir que este título es uno más que recomendable, imprescindible para los fans del género, y más ahora, que hay disponibles packs especiales con varios juegos de la serie. 

Like its predecessor, Commandos 2 is a distinctive game with a great design and a lot of impressive features. Yet Commandos 2 is even better than the first--its design is much more focused, the missions are more involved, and the expanded options for your commandos are all excellent. As a result, the game will certainly appeal to most anyone who likes a challenge for both the mind and the reflexes. And what a challenge--you'll feel a real sense of reward and relief after finishing each of the epic missions in Commandos 2.

Por muchas lacras que tenga, Commandos 2: Men of Courage es probablemente el mejor juego de estrategia que ha pasado por la bestia negra de Sony, y una buena alternativa a los géneros que más habitualmente pueblan nuestras consolas. Eso sí, os advertimos de una cosa: obliga a pensar. Y no a todo el mundo le gusta eso.

Comme vous pouvez le constater, Commandos 2 est un très bon jeu, à tous les niveaux, et il mérite bien quelques ovations et pas mal de centaines de milliers de ventes.

Commandos 2 is a hard game. Those without degrees in strategy gaming will find their task daunting and, in many cases, too hard to accomplish. Lucky for me I'm well versed in the ways of the special forces.

But even with these annoyances, Commandos 2 provides hours of strategic fun. The high difficulty level may discourage those with little patience, but if it were any easier, it wouldn't be as much fun. Grab your momma's army boots and get ready to put some serious hurt on the enemy.

What Commandos 2 does, and does exceptionally well, is push itself far enough away from dry tactical planning and into the world of quick-fire gameplay and addictive puzzling.

The difficulty is daunting, the missions feel like intricate puzzles, and the frustration factor is high. Still, nothing compares to the moment when you finally get it right.

A pesar de que el juego tiene una duración considerable (nada que ver con los juegos de hoy en día), la rejugabilidad del mismo, es bastante inexistente. Si bien el juego cuenta con tres dificultades, da igual en la que juguemos (todas son difíciles, aunque su nombre no lo diga) el final es el mismo para las tres. Después esta el hecho de cumplir con todos los objetivos secundarios, algo que puede alargar su vida, si la primera vez que jugamos nos limitamos a cumplir la misiones primarias. Pero en el caso de que seamos unos campeones y nos propongamos cumplir todos los objetivos, una vez pasado, ya no hay razones para volverlo a jugar. Es decir, que si lo hacemos todo, lo cumplimos todo y activamos todas las minifases. El juego quedara relegado a ocupar un puesto de honor en nuestra colección pero sin más aliciente para volverlo a jugar que el de revivir tiempos pasados.

Ni mucho menos el Commandos 2 original es un juego de nicho, pero el lanzamiento de Commandos 2 - HD Remaster está claramente enfocado a los jugadores que disfrutaron del título clásico en su día. Es cierto que se echan en faltan más novedades o mejoras, pero se agradece poder disfrutar de nuevo de un clásico como este. Por el momento únicamente está disponible en PC, pero se espera su lanzamiento en consolas para los próximos meses.

Yet even though the designers did as good a job as could be expected of porting the excellent PC version to the PlayStation 2, Commandos 2 just doesn't feel at home on a console. The fine detail in the graphics is lost, the cooperative multiplayer mode is gone, and the controls, which were difficult to get used to in the PC version, are less precise but no less difficult to master. If all that's not enough, the PC version retails for about $20 less these days. Commandos 2 definitely deserves a large audience. But it's only worth playing on the PlayStation 2 if there's simply no way for you to play it in its original form.

El motor 3D de Commandos 2 ofrece un resultado gráfico bastante atractivo, permitiéndonos adoptar hasta cuatro ángulos diferentes de cámara y rotar esta hasta 360 para observar todo a nuestro alrededor. Los enormes escenarios exteriores del juego, contrastan con la visión aérea de los interiores aspecto. En cuanto al audio, los efectos y las voces (de alemanes y aliados) están muy logradas y la banda sonora es una maravilla y puedes comprarla en un CD que se vende por separado.

A difficult to master user interface combined with gameplay that was already too difficult on the PC make for strange bedfellows.

Outre la censure omniprésente et l'apparition de bogues qui étaient inexistantes auparavant, cette version n'apporte aucune amélioration significative en ce qui concerne la jouabilité. For those with the patience and will to eventually master the control interface that buries it, Commandos 2 is still an excellent game.

Commandos 2 est un jeu plutôt décevant, qui risque de vous décevoir par rapport à la version PC, à cause de ce défaut de clavier, ces quelques bugs d’animation, et ce graphisme parfois flou...

Simply a subpar port of a pretty good PC strategy game. The difficult controls coupled with the difficult gameplay lead to a game that's just too difficult for most console gamers, and not in a good way.

Not a poorly constructed game at all, but more of an esoteric offering for the console gamer with exceptional patience and desire for a game that demands meticulous strategy.

Commandos 2 HD Remastered risulta un vero e proprio esperimento fallito, almeno per la versione Nintendo Switch.

I can't help feeling like this game was designed by sadists, for masochists. It's that frustrating.
