PAY TO SLAY

💀 Endless waves. Broken builds. A mechanized war against the end of the world. 🤖 Control a combat construct, survive hordes of the infected, and discover what went wrong with Project Vanguard... one run after another.

HOW MANY ROUNDS CAN YOU TAKE?

Pay To Slay is a top-down 2D survival roguelite in pixel art, inspired by the classic Zombies mode, where you face increasing waves of infected, mutants, and biotech aberrations.

Survive round after round, get random weapons and drinks, activate wild modifiers, and face brutal bosses that will test your build. If you fall... it\'s okay. The operator survives. The war continues.

SURVIVE THE HORDES

  • Waves of increasingly larger and more dangerous enemies

  • Elites and bosses that appear alongside the horde

  • Maps filled with pressure, chaos, and quick decisions

  • Classic survival style: the harder you fight, the worse it gets

RETURN ABSURDLY POWERFUL

  • Random weapons with crazy synergies

  • Drinks that radically change how you play

  • Tarot cards that modify rounds (risk vs. reward)

  • And much more...

Every run is different. Every build can break the game in a new way.

PROGRESS EVEN IF YOU DIE

  • Earn Bits, a persistent currency between runs.

  • Unlock new weapons, drinks, and upgrades in the hub.

  • Defeat countless bosses.

  • The system learns. You improve. The next run goes further.

DARK LORE, TOLD OVER A SLOW FIRE

In the early 80s, humanity turned to automation for survival.

Terminals, CRT screens, and remote-controlled combat humanoids.

No heroes. No glory. Just replaceable operators.

Something went wrong.

You will discover that the infection may not have been an accident...

and that the enemy was not always outside.

“The unit has been destroyed.”

“Assigning new combat shell...”

Welcome back, Operator.
