Horned Knight is a strange one. It’s a game that suffers from an extreme lack of variety, story and replayability. It’s a game that becomes repetitive rather quickly. It’s a game that does nothing to set itself apart from the hundreds of games of a similar nature that already exist on the market. And yet at the same time, it’s fundamentally solid from a pure gameplay perspective, with smooth, responsive controls and naturally difficult platforming sections that really test a player’s skill. 

Horned Knight is an old-school infused 2D action-platformer on PlayStation 4 that could use a bit more variety. The controls feel a bit off at first, but you should get used to them after completing a handful of stages at most. It’s a minimalist arcade-style game with 32 levels to complete, two difficulty settings, and some bosses to challenge you along the way. Horned Knight is available on PlayStation 4 with a budget $5.99 asking price.

All in all, Horned Knight is a below-average action-platformer with bland level design and stiff controls that get in the way as you start to play. It does include a Platinum trophy for trophy hunters to add to their collection, but other than that, this is a hard one to recommend.

Horned Knight es el mismo nivel una y otra vez. En total, una hora y media he tardado en completar Horned Knight en PS4 en su modo normal. Me ha entretenido un rato, pero es probable que no vuelva a jugar jamás.

Difficile de vous recommander chaudement ce Horned Knight. Trop classique dans sa globalité, le jeu peut se faire d’une traite en une heure maximum, et donne plus l’impression d’un petit jeu mobile ou tablette qu’un jeu console. Avec seulement une poignée de monstres différents qui reviennent tout au long du jeu, des décors assez similaires et un gros manque de challenge, Horned Knight s’adressera davantage aux chasseurs de succès. En effet les 1000G sont dans la poche en à peine 20 minutes, une fois le premier monde bouclé ! Reste à voir si cela vaut la peine de débourser 5,99Є juste pour cela. Dans tous les cas nous vous conseillons d’attendre une baisse de prix vu la durée de vie et la qualité générale du titre.
