This is a game that is just built for pure local multiplayer hilarity! With its simple cartoon graphic style, kids will gravitate towards it and when you add in easy to use controls it’s a game anyone can jump in and play. The library of games is huge and varied from Snake re imaginings to endless runners to flappy bird to maze running, the game really does cater for everyone. I would have liked it to lean into the multiplayer a lot more with victory counters and emotes/taunts but this is minor in the grand scheme of things. It’s hard to think of many negatives, I mean yeah playing it solo is boring as sin but it’s a party game what did you expect? I’m short it’s a must own multiplayer romp kids and adults alike, due to the massive array of games everyone will have a favourite.

If you’re a family with younger kids, Explosive Dinosaurs isn’t a poor choice. It offers some fun, albeit shallow, minigames. But a few omissions prevent this from being a must-have title.

Explosive Dinosaurs tries to be quirky, despite its flaws, but it does so in the same vein as the internet spouts recognizable memes. It’s not so much about the contents; it’s just about going through the motions. It’s doubtful that Mario Party would ever rely on a looped animation of Snoop Dogg to be comical. While there’s definitely a hard competition possible in this game, it will require quite a lot to overlook some harsh flaws, particularly in the main aspect of controlling the damned thing. For those that want to stick around, there are over thirty mini-games of varying range. At least, it’s a lot of different options.

No nos engañemos, el juego es muy cutre en la factura técnica. Tanto la música como el diseño de personajes, menús o escenarios son realmente pobres y, como decía, dignos de la generación de los juegos flash. Las animaciones de los dinosaurios, esos diseños de caja de cereales, las hitbox sin sentido, los fondos… Todo en el juego te dice que te alejes de él. Sin embargo, cogerlo con amigos y poner cualquiera de los minijuegos ya hace que puedas pasar un rato divertido. Hay que poner un poco de tu parte, claro, pero es que los errores pueden hacer la experiencia hasta más graciosa.
