You have been reborn as a deva, an enlightened being who follows in the footsteps of Buddha. Shakra, the lord of the devas, has sent you to Naraka, the eternal hell, so that you may break all the chains of suffering for humanity. Your reward will be the wisdom that will allow you to ascend to a new level on the path to Nirvana.

Welcome to the world of Tibetan Buddhist mythology! The hell of Naraka has 10 levels. Each level has as many sublevels as its number. For example, level 1 (the easiest) has only sublevel 1, level 2 has sublevels 2 and 1, and so on. Finally, level 10 has sublevels 10, 9, 8, and so on, down to 1. The demons of Naraka are constantly casting chains of suffering upon humanity, and you must destroy them. There are four different types of chains, each a different color. You need to destroy at least one of each type to advance to the next sublevel or level. To finish the game and reach Nirvana, you must complete all 10 levels. If you do, something wonderful will happen.

To destroy the chains, you need to use a random combination of mudras that will be displayed on the screen (bottom left) and which you must perform in the correct order to destroy the chain closest to you. A mudra is a symbolic gesture or ritual capable of accumulating or balancing the body's energy. Once you perform the mudra combination in the correct order, the deva will clap their hands loudly, and a powerful burst of energy will be launched against the chains, destroying the one closest to you.

You are not alone in this task. Two Heavenly Kings (from left to right, the King of the West and the King of the North) are by your side, trying to help you along your path in Naraka. If you reach level 6, the Heavenly King of the West will give you a special combo that you can use a maximum of eight times. When you press Fire + Up, Palden Lhamo will be summoned, and a powerful beam of destructuring energy will destroy all existing chains. On the other hand, if you reach level 8, the Northern Celestial King will grant you the Eye of Buddha, a special combo that you can also use eight times. When you press Fire + Down, the Eye of Buddha will stop time, allowing you to use that moment to destroy as many chains as possible, one by one.

The deeper you delve into the hell of Naraka, the faster new chains will appear, and they will fall even more quickly. The mudra combos required to destroy them will also become longer. Your path to Nirvana will not be easy!
