Our Review
Malasombra is a great game, an action and platformer adventure that challenges the technical limits of an 8-bit cartridge, but it is also something more: proof that, forty years later, the NES still has spells to cast. It is evidence that a studio does not need millions in budget to create something memorable, just passion, heart and much knowledge and art.
Malasombra is a cartridge that smells of endless afternoons, worn rectangular controllers and pixelated magic.
