Regardless of whether or not you buy into the movie's unprecedented hype, this game is one all action fans must own.

Aside from the occasional input lag, this is as engrossing a portable game can be outside of 3-D.

While each of the individual gameplay elements isn't particularly groundbreaking, Avatar's major achievement is the sense of immersion and scale that Gameloft has managed to create in an iPhone game.

Avatar is easily one of the best movie tie-in games on the App Store, but more than that it is a very good action game that I recommend to any gamer, whether they're looking forward to the movie or not.

If you're looking for a good time killer with great game play but aren't really interested in story, I would say that Avatar is worth a look. You can check it out for $6.99.

James Cameron's Avatar finisce così per risultare l'ennesimo, fallimentare tie-in pensato per cavalcare l'onda (o meglio lo tsunami) del successo del film. Non basteranno alcune idee interessanti, una longevità di tutto rispetto e una cosmesi coi fiocchi a salvarvi dalla noia: forse fareste meglio a dirottare i vostri 5.49 Euro su qualcosa di più godibile e divertente. E ora scusatemi, torno a volare sul mio Toruk immaginario.
