Three press media gave it
Denshattack! is one of those games that comes out from time to time, makes a splash and turns everything upside down. All its aspects are of the highest level. It's fun, charismatic, addictive and surprising at every moment. I'm grateful that in this holy house we don't give scores, because I would be forced to give it an outstanding grade and I would feel like I'm falling short.

What initially sparked my curiosity with its absurdity quickly turned out to be one of the most entertaining games I've played this year: Denshattack! is the perfect combination of games like Jet Set Radio, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater and Skate while simultaneously being so stylish, colorful and fast-paced that it's often difficult to grasp everything that's happening at once. The game never lets you catch your breath thanks to it introducing new mechanics, mission structures and gameplay elements regularely. Especially if you're aiming for gold medals in the various levels and chasing high scores there's endless hours of fun waiting for you. Plus the awesome soundtrack is perfectly tailored to the game and its visual style and just slaps. Read review

Denshattack! is one of those ideas that seem crazy on paper but ultimately prove that there is still room in video games for concepts capable of surprising us. Undercoders manages to turn a stunt-performing train into a fun, deep arcade game with immense personality, where every jump and combo invites us to keep improving. It may not be for every player due to its demanding learning curve, but those who connect with the game will find a unique title the kind that stays with you long after you’ve finished it. On this first half of 2026, Denshattack is the most fun game I’ve played. Spectacular and generous in content, it offers a balanced customizable train system, endearing characters and exemplary accessibility. All he needs is a multiplayer mode to be perfect. Read review

Denshattack is a game that shows how weird ideas can become amazing experiences when executed well. A train-based action game shouldn’t work so well, but the makers knew exactly what made arcade games memorable: simple concepts, satisfying mechanics, and constant surprises. Read review

Denshattack! is pure arcade adrenaline, messy, loud, and impossible to put down. It’s one of the most fast, stylish, and wildly inventive racers I’ve played in recent years. Even with a few frustrating control quirks, its energy, charm, and smart accessibility options make it easy to recommend. When everything comes together, it delivers some of the most exciting moments I’ve had in an arcade racer in recent years. With a little refinement, it could be something truly special. Denshattack feels like a lost gem from a forgotten, and underappreciated era. It is the type of game I needed right now. Read review

Denshattack! proves that it's still possible to innovate in video games with a completely unexpected idea. While its steep learning curve and unapologetically arcade-focused design won't appeal to everyone, players who enjoy mastering mechanics and chasing high scores will find a rewarding and refreshing experience. Denshattack! combines Tony Hawk with Japanese-inspired stylings in a fun-as-hell romp across a future version of the country. You'll race gangs, corporations, and even fate itself as a little engine that could, thanks to the power of friendship, rainbow tracks, and a (sometimes overwhelming) variety of gameplay mechanics. Denshattack! turns a ridiculous premise into a surprisingly solid, addictive and personality-packed arcade experience. Its blend of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, Jet Set Radio and Japanese trains works far better than it has any right to. Read review
