Throw in online and local multiplayer, and Asphalt 6: Adrenaline is one of the best racers you can buy. We would have preferred more cars, but this is pound for pound one of the coolest games on the App Store. On that note, do yourself a favor and splurge on the $6.99 iPad edition.

There is no question that racing fans will get a kick out of Asphalt 6, but fans of arcade racers will love it just a bit more. The graphics are solid, the sound is good, the driving mechanics are exciting (maybe a bit too forgiving for racing sim fans), and the game is just plain fun. If you like these kinds of games, you definitely won’t regret your purchase.

Asphalt 6: Adrenaline es un juego que nos garantiza unas 10 horas de diversión a todos los seguidores de las sagas carreras arcade, con una jugabilidad bastante continuista a lo que ya pudimos ver en la anterior entrega, aunque la opción de ganar hasta 5 estrellas en cada carrera según los objetivos que cumplamos nos hará disfrutar más tiempo el juego aumentando la rejugabilidad. Gameloft nos vuelve a sorprender en esta ocasión con uno de los  grandes títulos de carreras arcade disponible actualmente para los terminales Android, que llega traducido al español, con grandes gráficos, trofeos y opciones de multijugador.

Sono davvero pochi i motivi per cui criticare Asphalt 6: Adrenaline, dal momento che si tratta sicuramente del miglior capitolo della serie. Pur essendo compatibile con gli iPhone e iPod Touch di vecchia generazione, il gioco trae tutto il meglio dall'hardware di iPhone 4, offrendo un'esperienza visivamente notevole e, soprattutto, forte di un framerate che sui dispositivi recenti è più costante che nei precedenti episodi. Gli sponsor sono decisamente più azzeccati e coerenti delle formose ragazze di Asphalt 5, mentre la carriera in single-player permette per ore e ore di apprezzare le forti licenze del gioco. Tuttavia di grosse novità non ce ne sono, e con concorrenti sempre più agguerriti e nomi più altisonanti pronti a conquistare l'App Store, la serie Gameloft comincia a sentire l'esigenza di rinnovarsi e offrire qualcosa che vada ben oltre l'aggiunta di un Nos più potente.

Asphalt 6: Adrenaline is a fun arcade racer with a bunch of cars and tracks. If all you want is speed and exotic locations, this is the game for you. But let’s be honest, the Asphalt series is starting to get really familiar. Though it’s still reliable fun, the series needs to do something next time other than just offer more and more.

Like Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, we want to see the Asphalt series break out of its mold a little bit. Top-of-the-line graphics and online multiplayer are great, but it’s time to introduce some new concepts into the series. The real champion this month in iPhone racing games is Real Racing 2, which leaves Asphalt 6 with the silver medal.
