El Cid

Genres Adventure Action Links Twitch IGDB Short description

El Cid is an isometric action game starring El Cid Campeador. The events of the game take place in a fictional version of the eleventh century, a dark era full of incessant struggle between good and evil. A legend whose antiquity is lost in the abyss of time ensures the existence of a scroll that, when read by the forces of evil, gives rise to such a wave of disasters that Satan would be able to seize the Earth and secure its dominance as The prince of darkness.

The bold protagonist, having learned about the legend, decided to recover it for the forces of good, since the legend also affirmed that if this document were read by two people of good intentions, its effects would be annulled for centuries. With this goal in mind, start looking for the magic key that cast the spell that had hidden the scroll. But the task will not be simple. Many other gentlemen decided to look for the scroll, hoping to reach glory or for less worthy reasons.
