Donkey Xote is a game that goes along with the animated film Donkey Xote. It tells the adventures of Don Quixote seen from his donkey, and the story is told through scenes from the movie.

It is a 3D platform game, and it resembles similar 3D platform games like Spyro The Dragon. The player can jump to reach the platforms and often has to collect items such as coins.

During the game the player can switch between playing Rucio (the donkey), Don Quijote himself and Sancho Panza, the inseparable companion of Don Quijote.
