Like Billy, you must rescue Gizmo the Gremlin from the skyscraper where Dr. Catheter plans to experiment with him. Unfortunately, Catheter finds out about your plans and mixes a new generation of depraved gremlins. As a result, your mission is now one of destruction and escape.
The game consists of five levels with a side view that you must go around avoiding or shooting the gremlins. Each level has a secret object that must be collected. There are also items such as extra lives and time that can be collected, as well as improved weapons and credits to spend on a new weapon after each level.
The 16-bit versions were developed by the English company Elite, under the title "Gremlins 2: The New Batch".
