In late 1940, all of Western Europe is dominated by the German army, who are momentarily detained by the English Channel, while they gather their troops and prepare an imminent invasion of England. In spite of everything, a man of British command is not willing to make his country's military maneuvers defensive only: Lt. Col. Dudley Clarke. Its strategy is based on creating a special unit of commandos specialized in different weapons and equipment, who must carry out dangerous offensive and infiltration missions and thus change the course of the war.

Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines is a real-time tactics game set in World War II that puts you in command of a small squad of elite troopers. Send them behind enemy lines on a series of hazardous missions, and bring them back alive. Clever strategy has never been so furiously action-packed. Study the enemy's movements, develop a careful plan, synchronize your men, and launch them on a swift and fierce attack using all your power and skill.
