Despite the faults that hold the game back from being something of greatness, it's worth the experience. Three-player co-operative gameplay lends the game a helping hand in delivering an element of entertainment, but tedious combat is forever present from start to finish.

Crushing disappointment is a feeling superhero fans know well. You get your hopes up that a game will capture the action and flavor of your favorite comic book, movie, or (in this case) animated TV series, only to play something that doesn’t quite come close to resembling the brilliance of the source material. That’s the case with Young Justice: Legacy, a listless, unattractive squad-based action RPG that squanders its heroic potential.

Young Justice: Legacy manages to do the narrative and character side of things well, but those things were accomplished in the franchise’s other media already. Young Justice: Legacy exists as a video game accompaniment to the TV series, and in this regard it’s a repetitive, unsatisfying, and unimpressive failure. There are better scrolling beat-em up’s out there, and there’s more than enough Superhero media around to help you avoid playing this. Oh Warner Bros, how could you let something like this shamble to life?

Young Justice: Legacy doesn't try to do a whole lot, but what the game does attempt to do is pulled off with spectacular atrocity. Quite literally everything about the game is terrible, from its shocking technical incompetence to its vacant design. Friends, don't let anyone play, speak of, look at, or ponder the existence of Young Justice: Legacy. Shoot on sight. Bury deep. Curse its grave. Honestly, just thinking about this game makes our blood boil.
