Estamos ante otro título más del célebre Locomalito, y está otra vez acompañado por Gryzor87, el compositor musical de este título, que ha hecho un excelente trabajo componiendo la B.S.O. mediante la emulación del chip Yamaha YM2203, el cuál nos permite disfrutar de una experiencia arcade espectacular, digna de un juego de Sega Megadrive, Genesis o Master System. Si sois de los que os gusta los árcade de shoot'em'up al cuál más desafiante a más no poder, deberíais probar este título a ver si os convence.

With flawless presentation, satisfying and extremely challenging blasting action, and heaps of nostalgic charm, Gaurodan is well worth playing. That it is completely free is the icing on the, rather scrumptious, cake - so feel free to donate a few coins via Locomalito's website should you be feeling generous. This is also his first game that has been ported to the new Ouya console. It is currently awaiting approval - but with quality this high I don't think there will be any problem, and the Ouya would be lucky to host such a great title!

Gaurodan feels like something that people played back in the heyday of the arcade. That seems to be the special magic that its developers weaved into it, a skill that Locomalito and Gryzor87 manage to put into all of their games. They feel as if they were taken out of the times that inspired them, showing a focus on fun and challenging gameplay. While this game didn’t floor me as much as Maldita Castilla, it did provide me with a great time and surprisingly addictive gameplay. Again, it’s completely free, so if you’re willing to download some crap game onto your phone just because it’s free, why don’t you get something great instead?

Gaurodan is an awesome tribute to the classic arcade games of the 1980s. Concept, visuals and music combined with all its period features and a really hard gameplay offer a fantastic retro gaming experience.
