Legend speaks of Three Basics: A Sword, a Gear and a Weathervane. Together they grant the most unimaginable power to which no one has ever had access. But a sinister figure craves to get them. If that happened, the consequences would be disastrous.

The children are invited to spend a couple of days in Egypt by Professor Callisto, Tina's uncle. There they will discover that Callisto is trying to translate an ancient papyrus that talks about Three Basics. Three elements that, once united in the right place, give their possessor unimaginable power.

The protagonists will try to help Calisto find the Basics. However, they will soon discover that they are not the only ones who want to get hold of them, as the three elements are also being sought by a rival of Calisto, Professor Tacón, and by an old acquaintance of the children: the evil Maximalón.

In a race without truce, he will only win who manages to gather the Basics in the Delis pyramid first. But this pyramid keeps secret mechanisms to make it more difficult to get the power of the Basics.
