You are a private in the South Cosmos Army aboard the space vessel XSM Moontane on a secret mission to extract a spy who has compiled valuable information. You are under the orders of Commander Chapas, a war heroine who has been decorated with the Medal of Valour, 3 Purple Hearts (with lilac shades) and is an honorary member of Millwall FC. Your cover is to deliver butane gas cylinders to Resprok VI, a planet where terraforming failed and the trees bear cast-iron aubergines and the potatoes taste like ibuprofen.
