Blades of Fire had the potential to be a blazing sleeper hit, but too often settles for a safe, lukewarm affair. It’s not bad—it’s just painfully mid. And in today’s crowded action-adventure space, mid doesn’t quite cut it.

Ereban: Shadow Legacy is a fun stealth adventure with innovative shadow mechanics and a captivating world. Despite some bugs, the core gameplay and cleverly designed levels create a rewarding stealth experience.

Tower Princess is a charming action-adventure title that leans into the roguelike genre and Zelda style of gameplay with ease. The plot isn’t worth writing home about, nor is it’s sound design or gameplay feel at times. Although, Tower Princess is still worth checking out for it’s fairytale flair and hard-as-nails boss encounters that’ll push players to their limits.
