Despite a hokey story and marginally offensive characters, Monster 4X4 is a powerfully satisfying monster truck stunt game with 27 tracks. 

The action is constant and the eight worlds are large, giving players a lot of game for their money. Obviously, you shouldn't expect the same immersive experience of the N64 Turok, but this is still a good game for the genre.

The main game is in a three-quarter view action puzzle similar to Equinox on the Super NES. Color and play control could have been better.

Using cool weapons Turok runs, jumps, climbs, crawls and swims through perilous stages. The action and control are nicely done, but the color is fairly limited.

If you like action, Turok packs a lot of it into this game. Nice control and pretty graphics are a winning combination. It's the best of the Turok handhelds.
