Peregrino had a decent idea behind itself, and unfortunately that’s where it ends. The game sorely lacks engaging content. The developers combined several average mechanics and stretched them to their limits just to somehow justify releasing the game as a full version. It's a shame and an example of wasted potential.
Luto is proof that video games can address difficult topics with delicacy and empathy, but also with a strength never seen before. It’s a horror that doesn’t frighten with monsters, but with the truth about human pain. And although it’s short, it resonates for a very, very long time.
