More pups, more gameplay, more exploration, more fun, simply more of everything that made the first title so endearing to children, now with a 3D approach!

CrossKrush is a simple puzzle game where you blow up cars, there is not much more beyond that. The lack of road types, vehicle types or obstacles make the CrossKrush experience a repetitive one which is a shame. There are definitely several areas which could be easily improved upon, but as it is right now CrossKrush is not quite a crushing playthrough but a fairly unchallenging boring walk across a quiet cul-de-sac.

Monster Prom XXL is hilariously written and you’ll have even more fun if you’ve got someone to play with—either online or locally. There’s over a thousand endings to get between the base game and DLC and the cast is likeable enough to want to see all of their scenes. It’s just a shame the deciding factor is solely based on stats, making the majority of your character-related dialogue options feel pointless, otherwise this would have easily been an 8. That small flaw aside, I enjoyed my time with Monster Prom XXL and I have dozens of playthroughs ahead of me to clean up the rest of the events.

Tricky platforming sections dampen this otherwise atmospheric platform puzzler. It’s quite minimalistic, but that works in its favour and helps tell a very subtle story that’s engaging enough to see through to the end.

Tamiku certainly has the retro flavour in appearance and sound, but it lacks the special sauce to make it a truly memorable title.

Controlling this strategy game is a bit clunky. Flying Soldiers utilise a grid-based set up to plan the route that your birds will be able to take. I accidentally placed things incorrectly, placing the wrong tools in the wrong places and misjudging the distance my birds would travel. This really came down to how the stages were set up. The child-friendly nature of the game with its large squares and awkward tool selecting comes to hinder the experience of the player. I fought and struggled with the controls more than any other difficulty within the game. If I could sum up trying to play Flying Soldiers, I would probably suggest ‘frustrating’. When I first heard about this title, I was excited to try it out. This game had an amazing premise, but seems to have let itself down in executing this premise. This may be someone’s cup of tea, but it’s certainly not a title I’ll be going back to.

Who’d have thought that aliens exist, and they love to pop balloons? Dodge the enemies, and leave no balloons in sight.

The occasionally wonky physics can prove somewhat frustrating, but for the most part, Relicta delivers an otherwise top-tier physics-based puzzling experience.

Spellbinding and frustrating, Naught is a sight to behold, and players able to wrap their heads around the controls are in for a fascinating expedition.
