Lost King’s Lullaby doesn’t have much replay value but is a short enjoyable experience that is well worth its price point. It reminded me in parts of Hollow Knight for the subtlety of its story and its gameplay is similar to Undertale and The Binding of Isaac. Lost King’s Lullaby felt like more like a creative exploration of culture and folklore and is an atmospheric piece of art that really plays with genres to deliver a unique experience. I wouldn’t recommend missing this indie game for the world.

While the goals from kick-off are disappointing and the game feels a little rushed with moving through set-pieces, Super Soccer Blast IS a blast and is now my go-to football game on the Switch. It lacks the depth of FIFA, but it never aimed to compete with it.

Super Toy Cars 2 has the mechanics to be a really fun multiplayer game but falls short in the graphics and online multiplayer department.

What appears to be an adorable game on the outside comes a clunky, confusing game that only brings frustration.

Theme Park simulation should really have a title change, although this is probably a deliberate  marketing choice. The title is a collection of popular theme park rides with settings to control their operation. There is so little else to say about the game play that calling it a game feels difficult. The graphics don’t show the full capability of the Nintendo Switch and feel like something from an edutainment game from the turn of the century, match that to the audio which, while reminiscent of local fairgrounds, does little to make this an enjoyable experience. Ultimately this is a title for those who like funfair attractions and little else.

An arcade style racer that anyone can pick up and play and definitely one that you will want to come back to in order to challenge your friends to some racing action. Anyone a fan of the Mario Kart style will feel right at home with Touring Karts and enjoy some unique qualities this game has to offer while still maintaining that familiar feel.

Dawn of Fear, does its best to play the nostalgia card, but it does it so poorly, that it is more heartbreaking, than heartwarming.

A game with the mechanics and graphics of the late 1980s but that is entirely forgivable in 2020 with it’s big selling point being just how funny it was…to me anyway.

Super Korotama is a simple yet addictive game of skill. If you fancy something something that is somewhat different to what you usually play, something that will test your skillset then Super Korotama will satisfy that need.

Arise: a Simple Story’s clever spin on controlling time makes solving puzzles and exploring the world therein a joy.

Reventure reminds us that even the best meaning heroes can actually be way off base, and the results are chaotic, hilarious and, above all, fun to experience.

The return to Flamingo's Creek means learning from previous mistakes, focusing on what made the game engaging, but tripping a tad with optimization.

One of the most interesting takes on the brick breaking genre, Strikey Sisters can be chaotic and unbalanced, but still a fun and fantastic adventure overall.

Zeroptian Invasion is a remake of a retro classic but unfortunately doesn’t entice you enough to keep you playing it for more than a few minutes.

If Inglorious is their first foray into seeing what they can create, given time and perhaps a little more ambition I wouldn’t be surprised if they develop something really worth experiencing before too long.

Whether solo or together, this is a farming game that is simply enjoyable to plough through.

Micro Pico Racers certainly ticked the boxes for me. It just about balances a tough level of challenge with enough enticement to come back and try again. The different race modes and increasing difficulty curve are complemented by the range of cars suitable for the various challenges and track types. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got an expert time trial to complete.

Perfect for casual or lengthier periods of play, Twin Robots: Ultimate Edition offers a very solid experience, whether you choose to play solo or using its co-operative gameplay. If you’ve already played the original title, then there is certainly enough new content here to justify another purchase and if you’re new to the series, then you’re certainly in for a treat; especially if you’re a fan of platform games that require some lateral thinking to them.

Timothy vs The Aliens is a little rough but I genuinely enjoyed my time with the game. The game doesn’t last long and can probably get finished in an afternoon, which makes it easier to recommend. If Wild Sphere could tweak the platforming a little and try and sort out the mothership area, I would easily give this game a higher score. For now, this is the highest I can give it.
