I knew little about Epic Chef before I started, but I’m glad I played it. It’s a game that captivated me from the off and my love for it grew exponentially. It’s a fantastic relaxing RPG adventure that puts its peers to shame! With so much going on, you won’t tire of its amusing and lighthearted ways. Unsurprisingly, I adored it and I recommend you to play it here! The culinary business is a tricky place to master! Can you gather the right ingredients, create the perfect dish, and become the Epic Chef?

Al fin y al cabo, Epic Chef hace bien los deberes mezclando los ingredientes clave para que sea una obra cargada de entretenimiento; vertiendo un vaso lleno de vocación y cinco cucharadas de un intenso sentido del humor. Dichos elementos quedan muy bien mezclados y por eso se obtiene una buena base sobre la que echar el resto de ingredientes, entre los que destacan los 50 gramos de dinamismo y el aceite de comprensión al gusto.

Epic Chef is a fantastic single-player cooking and life-sim game that will keep you engrossed and enchanted with its charm, gameplay and stellar music. This game has all the hallmarks of sky-rocketing in popularity, and to be honest, I really hope it does. Because I want more of this.

En definitiva. Epic Chef es una experiencia culinaria y mágica realmente divertida. Con cantidad de matices que lo hace acercarse a cantidad de géneros. Pero sobresaliendo especialmente en la locura que es ser un cocinero en esta villa.

Epic Chef got under my skin a fair amount, but it's so insanely funny that I can't help but forgive its shortcomings. I wish it was less grindy and had some of the tedium lessened, but this is an entertaining, lengthy game with a ton of personality. You hear me?!

Overall, I did not expect that I would have fun playing Epic Chef but it surprised me in so many ways. The cooking battle were just fun to pass up on and regardless of how frustrating it can get, winning them feels so rewarding. Despite the things I find wrong about this game, it was still a memorable and enjoyable experience. I found myself getting immersed in its world for hours on end. Perfecting my dish so I can win the cooking battle. If you’ve ever dreamed of participating in cooking shows or just like cooking games in general, then this is something you might want to consider playing.

Epic Chef no revoluciona el genero de cocina precisamente, pero mezcla tantos géneros y ofrece tanto contenido que es muy fácil sentirse cautivado por esta entrega. Personalmente tras haber finalizado esta reseña me he quedado con ganas de seguir jugando y seguir probando todo tipo de recetas extrañas. El enfoque del juego en la elaboración y creación de recetas dinámicas significa que no hay por que limitarse a realizar recetas conocidas, pudiendo crear nuestras propias obras maestras a partir de miles de combinaciones de ingredientes diferentes, que dan paso a la creación de recetas nuevas e increíbles, o fracasos que deberán ser tomados en cuenta para seguir adelante y mejorar como cocineros.

It does take a little while for the game to really warm up; the opening hours aim to establish quite a lot quite quickly, but once you're past all that, there's a pretty solid adventure to enjoy. Some aspects may leave a funny aftertaste; loading interrupts the game between areas, which makes getting around feel a bit clunky. The presentation is a little rough too, with several fiddly menus and blocky characters that don't quite hit the mark. However, the witty writing and crazy story, paired with simple but effective gameplay, makes for an enjoyable adventure for your inner foodie.

For being as strange and bloated as it is, Epic Chef is a very engaging experience. While there are an almost frightening number of different mechanics involved, they all work together in interesting ways to create a very cohesive experience. Some people will like specific aspects of Epic Chef over others, but the way in which they work together means that very few are going to have trouble engaging with the whole, at least on some level.

Me esperaba ver un simulador de cocina que abarca muchas apartados y no destaca en ninguno o estar roto, pero Epic Chef logro dar un gameplay mas que divertido y sorpresivamente complejo haciéndote que quieras desbloquear más platos y experimentar ,con una trama muy divertida para la aventura acompañado de un buen soundtrack para pasar un buen rato.

Although it's genuinely rewarding and unique, Epic Chef can sometimes be an annoying game to play for various reasons. With that said, the core gameplay loop is handled so well that I'm looking forward to a sequel which will hopefully address its issues.

For fans of life and farming sim games, there’s a lot to like about Epic Chef. Yes, it’s a bit scrappy at times, but once you get hooked on its gameplay loop of farming, crafting and cooking, it hardly matters. Funny dialogue, quirky characters and a bizarre but enjoyable story set Epic Chef apart, and although it’s not going to set anyone’s world on fire, it’s plenty of fun while it lasts.

Epic Chef does a wonderful job of combining life and cooking sims with a light RPG adventure. The stellar writing and uncomplicated but fun cooking mechanic helps to set the game apart from others in the genre and is worth a taste of your time.

En definitiva, la nueva propuesta de Team17, Epic Chef, es más amplia y profunda de lo que parece a primera vista, viene dispuesta a darnos horas de diversión aderezadas con humor y magia. ¿Te animas a descubrir hasta donde llega la carrera de nuestro amigo Zest?

Un entretenido mundo con parodias a la fantasía de espada y magia con diálogos divertidos, un minijuego de cocina muy estratégico y gestor de recursos bastante bien planteado. Puede ser un título que sirva de reposo, pero no si buscas planificaciones de hogar, cultivo y granjeo.

With reams of fantastic dialogue and a unique take on the slice-of-life genre, Epic Chef is a worthy recommendation for fans of Harvest Moon and Stardew Valley. That being said, the introductory elements of the game could do with a bit more detail, and I’d love to see Epic Chef shine over a bit more of a spotlight on Ambrosia’s background characters.

Epic Chef is heaped with charm and humour that will undoubtedly put a smile on your face as you start your life as Ambrosia’s hottest chef. Unfortunately, while the cooking and farming mechanics are simple enough to grasp, the bloated nature of the game makes every task feel more arduous than it needs to be. Add to this the needlessly lengthy dialogue and bizarre limitations around the save function, and Epic Chef feels like a game that can’t quite match up with the other life sims available on the Switch. It's not unenjoyable, just more Little Chef than MasterChef.

With all of this being said, I did really enjoy my time with Epic Chef. This is a title that is largely fun and unique and will likely resonate with the life-sim fanbase. It isn't perfect, but it has plenty of depth and variety that keeps it fresh, even if it can be a little monotonous to play at times. But, if you're looking for a title to drop a few hours into here and there, to have a relaxed and stress free gaming session, then it's hard to say you'd go wrong with what Infinigon Games has created, because Epic Chef ticks a lot of those boxes.

Epic Chef es una aventura entretenida y cargada de contenido, aunque cuenta con algunos peros que tendrían que haber sido planteados antes de haber sido lanzado. Su sistema de elaboración de platos, recetas y salsas es muy variado y entretenido, pero cojea en el momento en el que deben ser cocinados, teniendo una mecánica que tiende a repetirse. La gestión del restaurante y la interacción con los vecinos es muy entretenida, al igual que el sistema de paso entre el día y la noche. Es un título al que le queda algo de trabajo con puntos que deben ser resueltos, como un sistema de guardado que permita hacerlo de forma manual y pulir ciertos aspectos. Sea como fuere, Infinigon Games y Team17 han hecho un buen trabajo en una aventura que mezcla muchos ingredientes en cuestión de género y que logra entretener durante muchas horas.
