Pour conclure, Creatures of Ava est la petite surprise du mois qui n'en est pas vraiment une. Tout est réuni pour qu’on y passe un agréable moment. Le jeu nous plonge à merveille dans son univers aux biomes et créatures variées, malgré un bestiaire limité. Et l’histoire est tellement sublime et touchante qu’on dévore cette aventure en une seule journée, sans jamais s'arrêter, et sans jamais s’ennuyer une seule seconde. Un bouleversant voyage bouleversant qu'on ne peut que recommander.

It has everything I could ask for! Gorgeous visuals, great, well-paced story, funny and well-written characters... Most of all, a very engaging core gameplay loop that never grew old or tedious. Le meccaniche del gameplay sono quasi del tutto sconnesse tra di loro, la storia è banale e per niente interessante e il mondo, pur essendo molto carino, sembra estremamente generico. Ed è un peccato, in quanto la direzione artistica e tutti i vari animali che compongono la fauna del gioco sono bellissimi, e avremmo apprezzato molto che la cura riposta verso il comparto artistico fosse stata messa anche in tutto il resto del titolo.

Worldbuilding is pretty important when making games. A rich world full of cool characters and adorable wildlife goes a long way towards a good game. On the other hand, worldbuilding only gets you so far. At least for me, the core gameplay loop has to be equally engaging. Creatures of Ava presents a vibrant world, but I struggled to stay in it. Something about that essential loop couldn’t keep me hooked. Not the way I was hoping for.

Creatures of Ava è un gioco ambizioso, che vuole fare e raccontare tanto, ma fallisce proprio nel principale dei suoi compiti: intrattenere. Perché puoi avere anche la migliore delle storie, sostenuta dalla migliore delle idee, ma se, poi, il risultato non è in grado di tenere il giocatore legato allo schermo fino alla fine del gioco, qualcosa nel modo in cui hai veicolato la tua opera è andato storto. E il gioco sviluppato da Inverge Studios pecca proprio di questo: di presa. Manca un equilibrio tra la presa che ha la narrazione e quella che ha il giocato. Un'occasione sfiorata, perché da dire c'era tanto ed erano anche argomenti molto importanti. Ma a questo mondo manca vita e spessore e, per una volta, la non violenza non ha ripagato, se non unicamente a livello morale.

Creatures of Ava es un título entretenido, que busca relajar y dar una aventura sin demasiadas complicaciones a sus jugadores. No busca una exploración en exceso, ni un combate profundo, sino que quiere tu desconexión y hacer que olvides tus preocupaciones para conocer Ava y sus gentes.

Inverge Studios ha creado un trabajo notable en cuanto a su localización, siendo un estudio español. Las voces, aún en perfecto inglés, rebosan calidad. Estamos ante un juego que ofrece al jugador horas de tranquilidad y exploración con una banda sonora compuesta con mimo y una curva de dificultad muy bien llevada.

Es hermoso y nos deja explorar amplias zonas mientras cogemos cariño a los Naam. Aunque el inicio del artículo era en tono de humor, la verdad es que este juego es tremendo planazo para las vacaciones. Bueno, y en cualquier momento. Ojalá podernos quedar allí, sin avanzar en el juego, simplemente disfrutando de la naturaleza, de la forma de vivir más orgánica y pausada que nos sugieren los Naam. Simplemente ayudando de verdad.

La obra de Inverge Studios es un videojuego muy sólido, pero sin descuidar el carisma. Carisma visual, con un apartado técnico y artístico muy solvente e inspirado, así como unas mecánicas jugables que, sin ser brillantes, sí que cumplen al ser consecuentes con la historia y mantenernos entretenidos. Tiene algunos detalles mejorables, como la gestión de inventario o el diseño de niveles en ciertas fases, pero si sumamos todo, tenemos un juego que hay que recomendar.

La nueva obra de Inverge Studios nos deja un buen sabor de boca. A pesar de algunos problemas de diseño y controles, cuenta con lo fundamental para hacer una experiencia divertida y entretenida. Nos ha durado unas diez horas de partida poder completar toda la historia. Si estáis buscando un videojuego bonito, tranquilo y de una duración no muy extensa para pasaros en un fin de semana, os recomendamos Creatures of Ava.

Creatures of AVA es un mundo lleno de vida que espera ser descubierto y fotografiado, lleno de criaturas y flora que juegan un papel importante en su historia. Un juego magnífico y tranquilo que disfrutado muchísimo en la Steam Deck, y es que es perfecto para esta consola. Si queréis una experiencia de unas diez horas que tenga un pellizco de todo, este título os encantará. Sin embargo, tal y como pensé a lo largo de toda su historia, no puedo dejar de agregar un «pero» malpensante cada vez que veo una mecánica o una parte de la historia con gran potencial. Creatures of Ava es un buen título, pero es demasiado videojuego.
