Blitz Brigade is a lot of fun for a short outing, especially with both single player missions and multiplayer. However, because of the limited content, players will quickly grow tired with the lack of availability in multiplayer. Free or paid, Blitz Brigade desperately needs more maps, gameplay modes, and overall customization, otherwise it won't take long for players to lose their interest in the game.

Diciamo "quasi" perché il gioco si presenta ancora come una sorta di "cantiere aperto", dopo il rapido dietrofront sulla discutibile scelta dei gettoni e la risoluzione di problematiche più o meno gravi che affliggevano il matchmaking e la qualità del comparto online in generale. Quello che ci viene offerto oggi è dunque un prodotto molto bello da vedere, dotato di un sistema di controllo touch non perfetto ma sicuramente efficace, foriero di un'azione sinceramente divertente laddove tutto funziona alla perfezione. Il problema è appunto quando ciò non si verifica, il che succede ancora troppo spesso e rimanda dunque il discorso ai prossimi aggiornamenti, che si spera porteranno con sé anche qualche nuova mappa e modalità.

While Blitz Brigade offers an enjoyable experience in team-based FPS gameplay, the overall experience is still clouded by freemium add-ons that add unnecessary annoyances. Unfortunately, this description is the norm rather than the exception in this day and age. If you're looking for a multiplayer oriented FPS that will have a player base and receive support (at least for the short term), by all means check out what Blitz Brigade has to offer. Just be forewarned that this isn't your PC's F2P shooter.

Blitz Brigade has almost all of the basic elements it needs to be a great multiplayer FPS on iOS devices. It looks great, plays great, and has a fair number of unlockables and the like to keep players motivated. Unfortunately it’s missing the most important one: server stability. With a little time and an update or two, I have every confidence that this could be one of the iPhone’s biggest online shooters. But at the moment, it’s a total dud.

Blitz Brigade is nearly the go-to online fist-person shooter on the go, but the servers behind it just are not anywhere near ready yet.
