For a game made by a team of any size, Mind: Path to Thalamus would be incredibly impressive. For a game made by such a small independent team, it's a masterstroke. Stunning, intelligent, fun, with wonderful puzzle mechanics and a thought provoking denouement, Mind: Path to Thalamus is a game that deserves to be remembered for a long time to come.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate

Most importantly though, Mirror of Fate is an excellent entry into this new Castlevania canon. It treats its plot with as much reverence as a home console title, while capturing more of the feel of classic Castlevania than Lords of Shadow. It's an excellent companion piece to Gabriel's first adventure, and a thoughtful, well-designed handheld title in particular.

he overall feeling I had with Lords of Shadow is that it's a very good game that could have been spectacular. If the level of care and polish had spread to all aspects of the game, and perhaps if certain sections had been left on the cutting room floor, it would've been released as a tighter, more rounded package that would be able to compete with the greats in its field. As it is now, it's still very easy to recommend and love the game. Iit's just not always possible to look past its issues, all of which act as minor disappointments or annoyances rather than genuinely off-putting aspects. Castlevania: Lords of Shadow is a solid start for the franchise's reboot and while it's far from perfect, it's easy to see where MercurySteam could take a sequel in order to achieve true greatness.

Wanted: Weapons of Fate

There are things to admire about Wanted: Weapons Of Fate. Apart from the gameplay twists and cinematic action sequences the voice-work is sterling and the graphics, as has been mentioned, are gorgeous. However, due to its shortness of length, repetitive (and at times annoying) gameplay and non-existent replay value, it's hard to justify paying the full recommended retail price for it – especially when you consider that there is downloadable content on both Xbox Live and PSN that is both cheaper and has more depth and longevity. Wanted: Weapons of Fate is not a terrible game. It's a worthy rental to be sure. Whether you think it's more than that depends on how much of a rabid fan you are of the Wanted franchise.
