Despite Gods Will Be Watching’s weaknesses, there’re more positives in Gods Will Be Watching than there are negatives: it’s aesthetically brilliant, fresh, distinctive and, when it gets the balance right, makes you mull over your decisions with sublime agony.
There is no way this can possibly contend with other racing games. It marginally succeeds as a quick arcade fix, but beyond that its destiny is firmly rooted in that of a bargain bucket status.
