Obviously a significant problem from the start is improving the controls. The constantly-changing camera angle and sluggish movement would make it difficult for many gamers, regardless of disability. It’d be great to have more auditory cues in the soundtrack as well, to improve accessibility for gamers with vision loss. Although it might detract from the aim of creating a tense environment—which I’d argue isn’t present anyway—a map of the house that fills in as you explore would make the game instantly much more accessible.

Overall, Spheroids is an enjoyable experience which will appeal to older gamers in my opinion. Those who loved games like Pang growing up will love Spheroids because it represents an evolution of the genre. Younger gamers will consider it a strange experiment instead of appreciating its history due to its bubble-popping nature. While I would’ve liked to see a more meaningful narrative as well as more variety in the shooting mechanics, I still think Spheroids is a game I can recommend for someone looking for an intense yet casual adventure.

While Crypt of the Serpent King is not the most polished game, it offers almost the same level of enjoyment as games like Rogue Legacy or Toy Odyssey. If you love roguelike titles, be sure to check this one out despite its archaic save strategy and odd texture issues.

Yesterday Origins follows the path set out by games like Firewatch and other critically-acclaimed puzzle games to push the genre forward. Yesterday Origins gives the player not only a challenging experience that rewards you for perseverance but also gives you a story that will leave you wanting to dig deeper into it. The game does have some flaws in the gameplay elements, but it’s easy to overlook these when the overall package is so well put together. Yesterday Origins surely deserves the attention of all gamers and I highly recommend this title.

Overall, Zenith is a fun game even though the developers seem to have cut a few corners here and there. Due to its old-school feel it comes across as an unpolished experience which takes a significant amount of time to get used to. However, once you get used to the feel, the environments and story get a hold of you and never let go. The game will definitely make you laugh with its humor and pop culture references. If you’re going to pick Zenith up, just be sure that you have the willpower to handle the stark differences between it and modern games when it comes to the camera and controls. If you can get past that like me, you’ll absolutely love the title.

Overall, Kyurinaga’s Revenge is not a good game. While it is a lot more competent than it’s hack-and-slash predecessor, developers Recotechnology have created a sub-par, unfinished experience with terrible co-op gameplay and slapdash level design.

Maldita Castilla is fun, enjoyable and one of those games that will really give you something to work towards, and when you do defeat that boss in the game, you feel like you actually achieved something worthy of that achievement, even if they don't give you one.

Pharaonic is a game that holds great potential given its Egyptian setting, but with it taking itself too seriously it forces the player to make the choice between taking a loss or pushing through way too early in the game. It's a shame since the game could benefit greatly from a simpler execution, instead of trying to be Dark Souls. There's a reason game like Lords of the Fallen failed.

Anima: Gate of Memories had so much potential, but a series of missteps produced a merely average game. The game has incredibly rich lore told through cutscenes, found documents and conversations with NPCs. The combat is fluid, precise and fun. But strangely-delivered dialogue, a visually unimpressive world, unfairly punishing platforming, and an unrewarding leveling system prevent Anima from excelling in the action RPG genre. I hope that their next foray into game making is a stronger outing than this one.

All I can say is I am incredibly pleased with Blues and Bullets: Shaking The Hive. It delivers on almost all fronts. It still suffers from some technical difficulties that can at times be jarring, but the storytelling and character development is so brilliant and well done that it almost outweighs the one con it has. I hope they can use the luxury of having episodic releases to patch up some of these technical issues, especially if they’re going to take months to release them. Regardless, I can’t wait to see how this epic story unfolds as time goes on. I have nothing but faith and hope in A Crowd of Monsters at this point as they have proven they can tell a masterfully crafted story with nearly flawless execution.

Unepic is a really fun, enjoyable game and a recommended purchase for any fan of the genre. There are hardly any flaws, but instead I like to call them challenges. They are minor oddities that challenge you to alter your approach. Doing this allows you to experience a lot more of the game that both RPG and platforming fans will love. I spent about 17 hours playing the game and have yet to discover all of the castle's 200 rooms. I should note that with all of the options included in the game and the time I spent playing, it's still currently available for only $10 on the Xbox Store. That's incredible value right there.

Overall, Super Toy Cars is a very fun little game with some minor flaws. I suggest you go and pick it up as you finish reading this review. It’s great for times when you have nothing to do, or you’re bored.
