Zombie Incident is a fun little game, though there are some annoyances to be found. There is no smooth transitioning between the various screens and the enemies could have benefited from more variety. That being said, the action is constant and Zombie Incident is a sharp looking Nintendo eShop title as well. If you are searching for something to spend a solid few hours with, the title has you covered.

Pour conclure, Zombie Incident est un excellent petit jeu indé qui mériterait d’avoir sa place dans votre ludothèque de par son côté rétro, sympathique, fun et surtout son prix défiant toute concurrence.

Zombie Incident is not without a couple of annoying factors at times, and some decisions in terms of game design do seem odd. Saying that, though, the feeling it provides coming out of playing it is a good one - a rewarding sense of accomplishment. It has enough charm to outweigh most of its shortcomings. Through its new 3DS coat of paint, it is obvious why it won the competition back in 2011, and, given its low price on the eShop, it can confidently be recommended to anybody interested in the concept, or fans of old-school indie games. Give this one a shot and be assured that, whether or not the same kind of occasional frustrations are experienced, gamers are likely to get hooked and end up not regretting the small monetary investment.

Zombie Incident has an amazing 8-bit soundtrack and beautiful 3D visuals. It can be quite hard but easily addictive especially when you try aiming for a high score that is posted for all to see. Some of the drawbacks are repetitive, generic enemies and the use of the touch pad to jump while trying to move about is a bit awkward but if you stick with just all buttons you will be fine.

In developing a game using such classic hardware, CoderChild and the original team have managed to produce an extremely authentic 8-bit experience. However, developing a title so faithful to experiences of the past leads to both wonderful quirks and frustrating flaws, which will irritate players to a degree dependant on their outlook. For the most part, Zombie Incident turns out to be an extremely enjoyable throwback platformer with highly addictive gameplay. What faults the gameplay does possess due to its antiquated design are eclipsed by its wonderful visuals, highly addictive gameplay and sublime chip tune soundtrack. The addition of online leaderboards further modernises the classic gameplay, and for the meagre price Zombie Incident is a frightfully fun addition to anyone's eShop library.

En definitiva, un pequeño gran juego que te enamorará mientras dura. Su mayor virtud es su mayor defecto, ya que la simplicidad que nos engancha es lo que le lastra el colocarse como uno de los grandes descargables de la consola.

Cabe decir que Zombie Incident no es fácil si te lo tomas a la ligera. Se empieza con una barra de vida holgada, pero es mucho más sencillo perder vida que ganarla, porque contados enemigos sueltan algún corazón. La idea es ir gestionando esa salud hasta el final del juego. De otro modo, lo más probable es acabar muriendo. Existe, además, un sistema de puntuaciones en línea para ir comparando partidas con la comunidad. Y lo cierto es que al final, teniendo en cuenta su precio -por debajo incluso de algunos temas de fondo para Nintendo 3DS- estamos ante un título más que decente.
