There is a lot of imagination and heart gone into the making of Super Toy Cars 2 on Xbox One that oozes out of almost every corner. Career mode is an absolute blast and I will never tire of smashing up opponents – or myself when making a bad judgement on one of the obstacles. The game is slightly let down by only allowing two players locally – four would have made this a gaming night essential – and the lack of modes online, but there is still masses of fun to be had here on your own.

Super Toy Cars 2 es un entretenido arcade que mezcla conceptos de varios juegos de carreras. Asimismo ofrece un apartado visual colorido y vivaracho que representa con cariño el concepto de “juguete” para recrear su peculiar mundo de carreras en miniatura. Aunque los controles no son lo fluidos y cómodos que cabría esperar en un juego de esta índole, la facilidad de pilotaje puede llegar a compensarlo.

Super Toy Cars 2 mantiene la misma esencia de su predecesor, carreritas de "cochecitos" rápidas y divertidas. Además también incorpora multijugador que siempre es un plus para este tipo de títulos. En líneas generales está entretenido, pero es cierto que aún hay algunos detalles tanto a nivel jugable (es la parte más importante) como visual mejorables. Pero estamos seguros que Eclipse Games estará tomando buena nota del feedback dado por una hipotética tercera entrega.

Es el juego ideal para los más pequeños de la casa, o para aquellos que deseen pasar un rato divertido con unas carreras sin toda la complejidad de muchos juegos. Acelerar, derrapar y usar los Power-up es todo lo que tenemos que tener en este caso.

Cuando aprendemos a derrapar, es entretenido, aunque deja de suponer un reto. Las pistas y la música están muy por encima de otros apartados. Sin online solo en Nintendo Switch.

Super Toy Cars 2 has the mechanics to be a really fun multiplayer game but falls short in the graphics and online multiplayer department.

Super Toy Cars 2 is one of the worst examples of this genre I’ve played in the past few years (surprisingly not the worst). The visuals, much improved over its predecessor and a decent soundtrack are its only saving graces.
